We've been drinking Pocari Sweat to rehydrate/replenish fluids for years. It can be compared to something like Liquid IV, but in my opinion Pocari Sweat wins for the electrolytes and what I see it as more of a "I just sweat a bunch and need something more refreshing than water." Liquid IV, at least in my house, is more of an "I'm sick" drink; it has a ton of vitamins and minerals, which seems like it would be better for dehydration, but for me it actually feels like too much ad makes me nauseous.
What I like about getting the powdered mix of Pocari Sweat is 1) You can make your drink as strong or as delicate as you want it to be. And for point 2) Considering how much you get compared to the single sticks of Liquid IV or nuun, its so much cheaper. The flavor itself I also find more pleasant than other choices, its a slight grapefruit taste, not overwhelming, pretty mild (unless you add a lot of powder).
We live in south Georgia, where the humidity during the summer will often have our weather between 90-115 degrees. We sweat. A lot. So we've had a lot of this over the years and tried different hydrating supplements, and we always come back to this!
