I still see the old 2-prong jacks on some aircraft when I travel and with these you can plug in the typical 1-prong jack these days easily, or plug an AirFly or similar device if you're using wireless.     Found out that airlines no longer use these types of plugs. So, I have no idea if they work or not. I assume that they should work.
