Omg excuse the awful no makeup face but I could not believe it! I have very fine hair and these pictures are literally with no product except heat thermal spray. I just wanted to test it out. My hair lays flat and I usually thickeners and lifting powders etc. This has nothing in it and I cannot believe the volume. Of course it needs to be styled but I really wanted to share

    This tool has been a game changer my my hair. I have a good amount of fine hair and have always struggled with volume/body. I am not great with hair tools other than a round brush and dryer. This was easy to use (watched some vids and read instructions) and it made such a difference. I can even go a day without washing my hair- now-the volume holds overnight. It includes some hair clamps made especially to hold fine hair while you are styling. I get faster and better everyday I use it. Had this on my wish list for 3 years and finally got it last month--Don't delay --it is well worth it.

    I have been stalking this for a while, reading reviews, watching videos. I finally pulled the trigger. I was skeptical and initially thought it was a lot of $$$! Now I think it’s some of the best $$$ I’ve ever spent, for real. A little about me: 57 yo; lots of hair, but on the fine, slick side. My hair has never liked to hold a curl. at peri- and now post menopause, I’ve had the typical thinning on the top, crown, temples, and sides of head. I despise hair products except to smooth my ends and maybe a very find misting of hair spray to frame my face. . I find any “volumizing”” products to be snake oil. I cannot tolerate any root lifters or dry shampoo on my scalp. They cause itching. In addition, I can’t stand the feel of these products. They feel stiff and gritty, overall a dirty feeling. I’ve tried teasing, but without aforementioned product, it just won’t hold up. THIS tool works. It is very subtle, but just enough to give that illusion of a bit of fullness and volume. If one were to use the tool with any products, WOW! I suspect one could achieve crazy lift, but that’s not what I was after. I am simply thrilled with this tool. I have a slightly layered bob that is shoulder to clavicle length. I almost bought the Rootie size, but after watching many videos, I felt the Petite would be perfect, and it is. It’s just the right size. I’m of the age where I grew up in the 1980s with really BIG hair. lol. I think the current flat crown look is lovely on most/some, but with my particular features, plus my whole face starting to melt/sag with age, I want to detract from my face, not bring focus in on it. Again, I couldn’t be more thrilled! I love it.

    Holy smokes!!!! This was far beyond what I was expecting! Huge huge huge volume! The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because of the crimp mark it leaves. Make sure to go one layer under and it works fabulous the crimping marks I was able to flat iron over and they were gone!

    I bought this item for black Friday/cyber Monday 2023 and was excited to see that their website stated "worldwide shipping. Free shipping". No asterisks, no disclaimer to be found in any policy document (I completely scoured the site). I tried to place an order, but all of a sudden, it magically did NOT have free shipping, worldwide shipping, or any black Friday/cyber Monday sale. I contacted customer support, informing them that this seems like a BBB case if they do not state ANYWHERE at all that the sale and free shipping only applies to a certain area, when they also list "worldwide shipping" right next to the other claims. First, I just got AI bot replies. After I finally got to talk to a real person, they sent me a link to a dead website and said to buy it there if you're in Europe. And then "through our direct website we only offer Voloom in the US and Canada. We offer our Volooms on Amazon as well so you MAY find an international shipping option through there". That hardly seems "worldwide", and when I told them that, they never replied back. I ended up begrudgingly ordering here on Amazon meaning no discount and extra shipping cost and border fee. Even though the product functions, they deserve no applause for the way they handled actual false advertising.

    Oh also, the "heat resistant carrying case" melted when putting the iron on it between sectioning my hair (iron on medium heat setting, plates not touching the case). Be careful, and know your consumer rights and the local laws where the company is based.

    I absolutely love it! I bought the rootie and it’s worth every cent ! My hair is just above the shoulders and fine. The rootie gives it that extra volume and it lasts for 2-3 days after! I also Love the clips and little brush that come with it!

But it has been very hot here so after sweating for a bit I wanted to add more volume to the hair. I changed the heat to 340 and again, within 5 minutes I got amazing volume in my hair. I saw some reviews about the machine breaking down so I will see how it works after a few months but for now, I have not tried anything else (powder, mouse, curling, blowing dry techniques... etc) that works better than this! so happy :)

    I was nervous about this having read all the negative reviews, but the 5 star reviews convinced me to take the risk. My order came faster than predicted and the tool heats up fast and works like a DREAM! I have very fine blonde hair (but lots of it, not thin hair, just fine strands) that droop flat immediately after normal styling even with volumizing products and round brush blow drying. Taking 5-6 minutes extra to use Rootie as directed gave me 100% more volume (literally doubled the look of how much hair I have) that has lasted for 3 days (2 nights of sleeping on a silk pillowcase). I also watched a great Rootie how-to video on Youtube done by a terrific gal, Harmony, at harmonize_beauty. These make all the difference in combo with Rootie. I love this styling tool and will never be without it.
