KEF LSX Wireless HiFi Steaming Speakers. Perfect for music or as active television speakers.

The convenience and connectivity of wireless. The emotion and detail of true high-resolution stereo. And all from a compact system designed to fit almost anywhere. LSX is the speaker system for the way we listen today.

KEF LSX Wireless speakers are available in 5 stunning colors, Gloss White, Red, Green, Blue, Black

Colours and fabrics.

Whatever your style, there’s an LSX to match. The system comes with a choice of five colours, and is clad in an industrial fabric by Danish contemporary textile designer, Kvadrat. These fine details make the LSX pleasing to the touch, as well as appealing to the eye.

LSX features KEF's Uni-Q driver array

Uni-Q. The sweet spot just got a lot wider.

LSX comes with KEF’s breakthrough Uni-Q driver array. By placing the tweeter at the centre of the midrange and bass cone, it radically improves stereo imaging. This not only makes music sound clear, detailed and lifelike, it does so across a wider listening area.

All the features you need.

Features:

  • LF: 70W/HF: 30W Per Speaker
  • Resolution up to 192kHz/24bit
  • Apple AirPlay 2
  • Spotify & TIDAL Streaming
  • Bluetooth
  • Roon Tested
  • Optical Input and Analog Inputs
  • Subwoofer Output
Play anything. Hear everything.

From streaming to gaming, from TV to multi-room music, LSX is designed for all your home entertainment needs. Play what you like, how you like, where you like and experience it all in glorious high-resolution stereo.

Contoured baffle. Hear the music, not the speaker.

Optimised using Finite Element Analysis, LSX’s contoured baffle improves sound dispersion, ensuring that sound waves travel outwards and are not reflected around the cabinet surface. The result? A purer sound, with less cabinet colouration.

    Excellent, but decide for yourself.

    Excellent, but decide for yourself.
It took me a while to appreciate the ravings everyone raves about. It was the second day having these, and just having tried Audioengine HD3, Edifier 1000, and having had Sonos for two years, is when they might have passed the test. The first day, I thought, well Sonos sounds great and these sound different but do they sound better? Better is subjective. Better enough to justify their price is even more subjective. Arbitrary. Now I realize that Sonos is a great speaker, especially with the connectivity and ease of use. The Audioengine HD3 is an excellent speaker. The Edifier 1000 is a great speaker, especially with tabla, it feels like it’s titanium tweeter renders tabla so delicately like buttery smooth. Absurd but that’s the best I can describe it.So, today is the second day of testing the KEF and third day testing the Audioengine HD3 and the six hundredth day of listening to Sonos. A couple witbiers to perk up my ears. Started with a few symphonies, Amadeus’ famed, Dvořák’s famed. Anoushka Shankar’s Bright Eyes. Zakir Hussain’s teen tal. Then Kiara’s Gold and Tennessee. Then Michael Jackson’s Scream on Spotify, Thriller, Scream, Dangerous, and boy does that 90s music makes these shine!!Each one of these excellent speakers render all music very very well. What makes me write this review for the KEF LSX? The space. The separation. If that’s what you care for, there is plenty. The Sonos make music sound energetic and wide but it’s still right there in front of you, and they render every detail that the KEF does too. The Audioengine HD3 do that too, separated but still everything is behind that monitor between the speakers. The KEF LSX, they do that detail, but they restrain that sound just a bit and stretch it and spread it around you, instead of the in-your-face thump of Sonos. Is that worth it? I don’t know. But it’s a different experience than some other excellent speakers for sure. Stream Michael Jackson’s Scream and decide for yourself.(I will not rate these five stars because if Sonos can do connectivity and ease of use well, so should KEF, if they pride themselves on their sound, which is great, no doubt. At ten times the price of other good speakers they better learn to do ease of use right.)I started off testing them as potential speakers for my office but the more I listen to them the more I want to keep them close to home.
