I bought this as a gift for a friend that’s starting out. I’ve been a subscriber to FP for almost a couple years now and it’s excellent at getting players up and jamming. It’s chocked full of well produced, easy to grasp lessons, different styles, and loads of other info to work with. The instructors are absolutely badass and there’s a lot of support on their FP Facebook page which is super helpful. It’s seriously worth the money especially compared to in-person lessons. If your’e a DIY-er and are disciplined about practicing, this is an awesome place to start. Well done Fender!

The Fender Play site is good for a beginner like me
This prepaid card saves a lot of money over the $19.95 a month on the Fender Play website. However, when I received the card, scratched off the card to reveal the redemption code, and entered the code into the fender.com/redeem/ - the code did not work. It took several days with support to get the credit applied to my account (they support person had to enter the code in the back end of their site to make it work). The Fender Play site is good for a beginner like me, and I think the next 6 months of learning and practice will allow me to get up-to-speed on my acoustic guitar.
