    For a luxurious and premium finish, we use 97% GOTS-certified organic cotton (CU863637) in a soft, natural color blended with 3% elastane for functional stretch and enhanced durability—fully compliant with GOTS standards. Our organic cotton, which we use for a gentle, breathable cover, is responsibly and sustainably harvested in India exclusively for us without pesticides, herbicides, and fertilizers. Our organic cotton meets OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100: Class 1 certification (15.HIN.75800, Hohenstein HTTI), ensuring no harmful substances identified in their standard are present as a result of processing, including banned substances, toxic chemicals, pesticides, and dyes.

FSC®-certified and sustainably sourced, Pure Talalay is an eco-friendly choice for elevating your sleep experience with enhanced comfort and breathability. Pure Talalay latex is molded as a single piece for every size except King. Because no single Pure Talalay vacuum-based mold can accommodate King dimensions, the latex for a King mattress is expertly joined from two molded pieces using Simalfa, a premium water-based adhesive, ensuring a seamless, comfortable, and durable surface.

    To protect your Eco Organic Latex Mattress Topper, we recommended an organic mattress protector. Spot clean only with natural cleaners. Do not machine wash. Do not iron or bleach. Dry completely after spot cleaning. Occasional airing will keep it fresh and clean. Rotate and fluff your mattress topper to help retain the loft. If desired, the topper can be flipped.

    A law label is a legally required tag or label on new mattresses describing interior filling materials. Few companies will share this information before your purchase because it separates fact from marketing hype. We believe differently. Here's what the legal tag on the Avocado Eco Organic Mattress Topper (Medium/Dunlop Latex version) says: Made in Mexico with domestic and imported material. Internal materials (based on weight) consisting of Natural Rubber Latex (100%), plus a fabric cover comprised of Organic Cotton (97%) and Elastane (3%).     As a Climate Neutral Certified company since 2019, we've measured Avocado's annual cradle-to-consumer emissions, offset them by investing in climate change solutions, and started taking real action to reduce our emissions.   • PROJECT ZERO WASTE

    We're proud to be certified by UL Solutions for a landfill diversion rate of 85%. That means only 15% of our manufacturing waste ends up in the landfill — we upcycle or recycle the rest. Since we began Project Zero Waste in 2020, we've been a pioneer in the space, increasing our waste diversion rate by 33%. We are the first mattress and bedding company to achieve this.
