Planting Instructions:

Water, light and nutrients are essential for plant to grow. To have a successful experience with your hydroponic kit, please follow these instructions.

Start Growing

- Remove the lid, the band ring and the net pot(with wick and plug)from the mason jar

- Add 2 cups (16 oz) of water to the mason jar

- Place the net pot(with wick and plug) and the band ring back to the mason jar

- Leave the green circle plug cover on the growth plug for up to 7 days or until the seeds germinate. The plug cover keeps the plug surface moist which helps germination

Plant Food

Plant food is not included in this kit due to regulations. Recommend liquid plant food for herbs and vegetables available on Amazon. Follow instructions on plant food packaging to fertilize your hydroponic kit.

Watering

When water level drops below 8 oz (about 1/3 of the mason jar), add water to 16 oz (about 2/3 of the mason jar). No need to replace water

Light

Light is essential for plant to grow. If you have access to windowsill, put the kit on windowsill to get sunlight. Otherwise you can place the kit under LED plant-growing lights for 16 hours a day as substitute of sunlight.

I should have followed what some of the reviews said before, after following all the given instructions that came with the kit and even two weeks after I got said kit, I saw nothing growing at all. No seedling roots or sprouts at all. I had everything set like instructed and after that (the third week), I separated the plug only to find just dirt. Don't buy this product, it's better to just buy seeds from a City Mill or Florist in your local area.

I purchased three of these in January. Dill, oregano, parsley. I followed the instructions including purchasing the plant food recommended to add to water. First, too many seeds come off on the sticky label. So particularly my dill, lost most of its seeds by being stuck on the label. The growth isn’t as vibrant as in the pictures. I only had a few sprigs of each herb. It’s much more economical and successful to buy a fully grown herb for a few dollars at a grocery store and keep it as a full size.

This is giftable but I bought it for myself to try if i could grow my own lavender plant . Money wise its a little to moderate cost . At first I was skeptical if i could grown lavender via hydroponics but figured i should try and im a curious . So, first thing when i recieved it i read the book that came with it and do a step by step instruction on how to plant it . I noticed that there is no seeds in a pouch or anything like that its BECAUSE its already in the soil that came with the kit. BUT YOU need to check the cover I shown above because the seeds are r sticking under it mine yiu that the cover is sticky and it kinda sticks to the soils , since tha soil is kinda dry when you recieve it. So first thing you should do is check the cover and under it thats where i found my seeds all of them. After i put water recommended to put in the jar i check the cover and saw all the seeds sticking to it . So what i did is take all the seeds from the cover and stick it jn the soil and put the cover back on . After 7 days or so I saw them all sprouting . Some vould take up to 10 days i think. SO FAR, IM HAPPT SEEING it sprouting and growing hopefully they all survive and grow so i could make a few hydroponics jar from it. Happy with my Purchase.

This is giftable but I bought it for myself to try if i could grow my own lavender plant . Money wise its a little to moderate cost . At first I was skeptical if i could grown lavender via hydroponics but figured i should try and im a curious . So, first thing when i recieved it i read the book that came with it and do a step by step instruction on how to plant it . I noticed that there is no seeds in a pouch or anything like that its BECAUSE its already in the soil that came with the kit.
