    I cleaned my face with warm water, pat dry & used my favorite rose oil & toner afterwards.
    The cleanser was wonderful & I know it will be great in the morning. My skin feels refreshed & clean without any drying effects on it.
    It’s also a larger bottle than what I was expecting for the cost it’s cheaper than my other face cleaner.
    Definitely worth the subscription or just the purchase to try it.

    I've recently started bringing this cleanser into my routine - about twice a week - and while I only started a couple weeks ago, I love the effects so far. I tend to have oily skin, which is exacerbated by my sunscreen. I still use Cerave cleanser, but as soon as I use sunscreen and begin to sweat, my skin is oily for the rest of the day. That effect doesn't seem to happen with this cleanser. I have sensitive skin, and I have rosacea. This cleanser has calmed my breakouts and given me very soft matt skin. The scent is strong if you use it in the shower (my whole bathroom filled with the smell), but I found the scent to be calming and soothing.

    The titular adjectives are what immediately spring to mind when lathering this cleanser on your face for the first time. The fragrance comes across as light, natural and crisp, in contrast with the synthetic chemical fragrance of other big brand cleansers. Its smell is that of a decadent high-end spa where you might peacefully laze away a much-needed afternoon of self-care.

    The only complaint I have is really minor, and that is I would have expected a higher quality pump. This cleanser is quite thick and viscous, so you may have to help the pump along on the upstroke. Different packaging would be the final touch to firmly elevate this to the $40 premium this product commands.

    Still, it is entirely worth it, in my opinion.
