Strong herbal scent, hydrates quickly.
Jack Black Turbo Body Lotion Energizing Gel Moisturizer, 16 fl. oz.This moisturizer is a bit different from most I have used in the past. I think it's that this is a gel-style moisturizer. I do like the scent though it's reminiscent of vapor rub. My roommate immediately pointed that scent out and now it's what comes to mind whenever I use this. It does fade fairly quickly but when you first apply it the eucalyptus scent is strong.With this, a little goes a long way. Since it has a gel texture it's very much on the watery side. You can make a small amount cover a large area. Once it dries is when I will apply a second time if I feel my skin still needs more.I'm a bit torn on this product though. In some aspects, I like how it feels very cooling and it absorbs quickly. It does leave my skin feeling a bit oily though. I tend to do better with the creamier lotions over this type of moisturizer. I find the scent of this soothing while as I mentioned my roommate dislikes the smell. I do like that it is an herbal scent and more gender-neutral in that regard.Price point wise it's a bit on the high side. Given the ingredients, I think it's reasonable with the competitors priced in this range. It is also a large bottle. I personally didn't like the results enough that I would reorder. I do like this brand's soap though and have found their products to be very good. I just hadn't tried this moisturizer before.
