    It fits the theme of my home, it is sleek and its’ wooden rolling table lid elevates it as a piece of my decor. With the lid/wood rolling table, there’s a corner “missing” which is great because you can easily scoop up leftover flower. Also, I swear the finish or grain is different and sleeker on the wood itself than the 1.0. (Which is still a great stash box!)

    There are two airtight seals for the flower compartment and for the box itself keep the smell hidden. From the original and 2.0 cubbi, an upgrade is the rubber/silicon/idk almost cup holder like grips to hold my grinder in place and allow me to store different size grinders.

    The papers holder is wonderful! Makes it easy to just pull the papers out, functionality a 10! And there’s a lighter spot so my lighters aren’t loose so I never lose a lighter.

    All the cubbi boxes are just very cleanly, smartly done, with functionality and aesthetic in mind.

    I’ll start with my minor complaints (easily fixed)
    1. When using the top as a rolling tray, it can slide around a bit. I purchased some small rubber feet for the bottom of the top rolling tray piece for around $4 and this is no longer an issue.
    2. While the Cubbi is absolutely smellproof when closed, it can hit you like a brick wall when opened if storing used equipment. I was able to find some small charcoal odor eliminators (using 2 right now), which does take care of the smell inside but sacrifices a little bit of room.
    3. This is a bit pricey for a stash box and I think at least having the 2 issues above resolved with a built-in solution would add to the “premium” feel. But when ordering direct through cubbi, the custom fitted grinder is included so it’s a little bit more justified in the price (buying from Amazon comes with a 50% coupon for the grinder).

    Now for the good!

    This is the first stash box that I don’t feel bad about leaving out, it fits right in and doesn’t really draw much attention (unless your a stoner and you think it’s cool lol). It can fill up kind of quick, so it probably won’t fit EVERYTHING you have, but it is definitely roomy and should not have any problem fitting the most used and essential equipment. I opted in for the cubbi grinder and that definitely helps with organization at storage space, you can even fit a few things around the grinder. The internal “lighter slot” is great for spare lighters and papers, but will fit other things too. I was able to fit about 1/2oz of cheese in the cheese storage without any issue, has stayed fresh, and no smell leakage at all. Having the cheese storage built in is one of the main selling points in my opinion.

    The price is definitely hard to justify but, once you get your hands on it, any reservations will be blown away with the premium quality. It’s portable, smellproof, all-in-one convenience, and I haven’t come across anything that fits so much into a clean & form fitting look.

    My complaints above are the only reason why I did not give 5-stars.

My initial concern is the wooden lid, this was not sanded down well ( you can see the sanding marks), this leaves way to much residue on the lid after use which requires additional cleaning. I also do not use rolling papers but cones, would be nice if the lid for the side slot could be removed to just have a larger spot on the side for whatever. Lastly the addition of a tiny spoon of sorts would be handy for where you store product in the interior with the additional sealed compartment. Id probably give it a 3.5 if it would allow.

    It looks sleek and it’s a nice decor piece, but it’s waaaay smaller than expected. The nook for the grinder is tiny and in a weird angle, I would suggest to stick with the same brand of grinder, although almost impossible to get since it’s sold out. Also, mine didn’t came with the paper dispenser lid. The quality of materials is nice and the tray is pretty sturdy. It’s a nice addition, but not very practical.
