    Excellent
I'd like to start with I received my Google Pixel 7 pro on time and brand spanking new! My bf and I were very worried due to the mixed reviews. Although some of the reviews were bad I did not share the same experience. The box is secure with two white stickers on each side which is how the Google pixels are sold. When I took my phone out of the box it was in perfect mint condition and came with a USB c to USB cable. Beautiful and sexy design love the chrome detail on the camera.Charger: I did have to purchase a charging block for it. The battery was not charged so I charged it and it quickly came to 100 %. Battery lasts like a good day and a half and probably would last longer if I didn't use it so much.*** Now it did have a att card in there (like reviews stated) but I found out that an unlocked att phone that's brand new does look like that from att. ( Yes I physically called att to get to the bottom of this) The reps assured me that the seller has brand new unlocked att phones which are compatible with any carrier. Not dishonest seller like reviews had me assuming.Activation: My bf called our service provider Metro and the transfer to my phone was very fast. Took him 10 minutes and my phone was up and running. After I turned on and off my new phone like 2 times the phone was active.Functionality: I am very impressed with the speed of this phone. It's fast! If you like playing games or are like me and do everything from your phone this phone is great! Internet surfing, and multitasking is a breeze. So many free apps from note taking, games, reading, shopping, financial and more.Camera: This phone takes absolutely beautiful pictures. I even had no makeup and it looked decent not fuzzy or grainy or lack luster. When you tap the screen you can adjust contrast and brightness with out having to click edit separately. There are also really cool editing features I have not tried yet that look really cool.Still learning this phone and the many features I haven't discovered. There are a lot of cool features like you can circle something on the screen at any time and it looks it up. Phone calls are written in words on the screen for people who are hard of hearing during call. Very cool backgrounds during Google meet call very similar to face time features. I feel Google meet is a lot better than FaceTime (don't come for me lol). I am a previous iPhone user and there are some features of this phone that are simply better.Cost: This phone is a budget phone and still up to date with current updates and is a new phone. I refuse to spend a mortgage/rent payment on a phone. I just simply can't bc these phone prices are just insane for getting a current year phone. This one is last year's model + everything I wanted and more.Display: phone is very bright and the display is beautiful. Brightness can be adjusted bc it is a very bright phone which is great. Colors are vivid and clear making photo experience and gaming more fun.Sound: The sound is pretty loud. During calls I find myself lowering the volume. Whether you are using speaker phone or regular audio.Google users: if you do everything on Google and love the Google platform it intensifies your enjoyment. Everything transfers over and all your pictures and routine bc a breeze!I will update you all later on but at this point I couldn't say more good things ;) Just get it.** I am taking time to address all the negative feedback that almost deterred me from buying an amazing phone. I had the phone for three weeks and will be back with updates. Get yourself an OtterBox or something like it bc this phone has glass backing and if your like me than order it the same time you get the phone.
    Thank you for your feedback

I bought the Google Pixel 7 Pro last year (2024), and now in 2025, I’m still extremely happy with it! It’s hands down one of the best purchases I’ve made.

✅ Performance – This phone is blazing fast! Even after a year, it runs smoother and faster than my iPhone 16 Plus. No lag, no slowdowns—just pure speed.

✅ Display – The OLED screen is sharper and more vibrant than my iPhone 16 Plus. Colors pop, and the 120Hz refresh rate makes everything feel silky smooth.

✅ Value for Money – The Pixel 7 Pro costs half the price of the iPhone 16 Plus, yet it delivers equal (if not better) performance, a sharper display, and top-tier software updates.

Overall, the Pixel 7 Pro is an incredible phone that still holds up beautifully in 2025.

At a week into ownership, this is running Android 15, and my experience has been all positive.
If you're at all concerned about Snapdragon vs Tensor 2 (among similar 2 to 3 generation old phones), don't be. Yes, on paper and in many reviews, you might be lead to believe that the Tensor 2 will never keep up with a Snapdragon phone. I'm not a gamer, and so while that may be true as it applies to A-list games, otherwise in real life usage, this Pixel 7 Pro is fantastic.
The form factor, size, weight and build quality are perfect. The battery life is so much better than the Galaxy S21FE that this replaced, it's ridiculous (yes the S21FE has a new battery installed). The variable refresh rate screen not only looks amazing, but contributes to the superior battery life.
Network performance (WiFi and 5G) are probably better than any other Android phone I've used. The on-screen fingerprint sensor, though often reported to be finicky, has worked fine for me.
Photos look great, and not being a pro photographer, it takes good point and shoot pics. The camera bar on the back is said to scratch easily, but I picked up a case that had a raised lip around it. Problem solved.
One other thing that's nice, is that being a Pixel from Google, you get one set of apps with the OS. No "other company" branded browser, gallery, messaging app, wallet, etc. With respect to customization, I have always had (and still do) Nova Launcher on my Android devices, and that suits me fine.
Overall, for about $430 (as of Nov 2024), for a 256GB variant, brand new, I don't think you'll find a better phone. Keep in mind too, that all bands for all US carriers are supported (I'm on Mint Mobile), and the native Google Phone app supports visual voicemail (my Samsung did not).
I'd absolutely buy it again, and once the Pixel 11 hits, I'll likely go to a Pixel 9.

Had this phone for 3 months now, still holds up to the quality, the photos are amazing, the software integration feels smooth and overall the phone functions as intended. For an old model it still feels like am using a flagship phone, its light, and the screen is amazing, the 120Hz refreshrate comes in handy and the 1440p display makes all videos crisp and amazing. Honestly as a content creator this phone hold up well in terms of pics and shooting videos.

I bought the Pixel 7 Pro 4 months ago (new... not used or from a 3rd party seller), and it has incrementally been causing me to regret buying it. Either I didn't do enough deep-dive research on this phone, or the hype that's been building with the Pixel brand of phones over the years has been fabricated. Either way... lesson learned.

My issues with this phone have thus far been:

      1) No matter how much adjusting of the screen & display setting, the screen randomly-to-always responds to finger and/or other pressure sensing to cause the screen to light up. Even in my shirt pocket it will randomly "activate", and by the time I have pulled it out, the phone has various apps opened. For transparency, I'm one who prefers to not have a screen lock, therefore I shouldn't have to have one set just to prevent what I just mentioned from happening. Screen lock is supposed to be for security reason... not because the device is glitchy and whatnot.

      2) More times than not, when I plug the phone up to a proper charging cable & adapter, or better, it will ding and screen light up every few seconds indicating it's charging like when it is first connected to the charger. Seems like it isn't charging correctly or there's a malfunction in the phone's circuitry. I have tried numerous chargers & cables... same thing. But it isn't every single time... just most of the time.

      3) Many times when I am ready to close an app, I have to tap on the bottom screen controls numerous times until it finally responds and does what it's supposed to do. And I do not use a screen protecting cover... just a case enclosure to protect the body and to keep the phone feeling like a wet bar of soap slipping from my hand when holding it.

      4) Installing the monthly security updates takes freaking forever! A 40MB - 500MB update should not take very long to install on a current model flagship spec'd phone. It takes so long that the screen timeout feature set to longest possible of 30-minutes (which is absurd that one can't have the option to choose longer like the good ole days). Once the screen times out, the update is paused until you turn the screen back on, which in turn causes the update process to assume you're using your phone and states that the update can't proceed while the phone is in use. You'd think telling the update process to resume would just pick up where it left off and maybe hopefully finish, right?... Nope! It starts all over again! The only way I can get the monthly update to install is to stay in front of my phone to keep an eye on it and to press the Volume up or down button every so often to prevent the screen from timing out and to not accidentally "use" my phone by tapping on the screen or whatever else. It generally takes 1-2 hours to install the update, which is ridiculous! The download part happens smooth & quick, so it's not a Wi-Fi or using cellular connection scenario... it's the installation part.

EDIT to #4... God forbid any app on your phone throws up just a simple notification at the top. For instance, today April 10th 2023 while trying to get the 40.97 MB monthly update to install, after an hour went by and it was (is) still installing, my Amazon app had a notification come through, without popping up over the update process mind you... just the icon in the upper left corner, the daggum install process "paused" claiming it can't process the update while the phone is in use. WHAT?!?! So tell me, Google... are your customers expected to have to turn off any & all app background operations, disable all possible notifications/reminders/alerts/etc., text everyone we know to not to attempt to contact you in any way prior to trying to install a month 40 MEGABYTE file that takes 1-2 hours to install?... and every month at that?

      5) Bluetooth connectivity... over the past month or so, the Bluetooth will be a 50/50 if it'll connect to any of my Bluetooth devices when it never had a problem before. Even removing & repairing the devices doesn't fix it. I have to try & try many times most of the time now for the phone to connect and stay connected to the devices. Even power cycling the phone (rebooting) doesn't help.

      6) Also, over the past couple of months I have noticed that when I video call with someone, it has been getting worse on the battery during those times. What I mean is, when plugging the phone in to recharge while still using the phone. It used to recharge, albeit slowly, while I would be videoing with another, but now it will either just remain at the battery level its at when plugging it in, or even still drop a % or two. Even my older phones still re-charge while in video call use. Understandable that the re-charge would be slower due to device usage of video calling, but now being stagnate or even still discharging?

      7) And now, the phone has begun to overheat rapidly when using the phone since the March 2023 security Update. More so when video calling to the point where the phone cuts off... even with the case removed. It'll be so hot I can't even hold the phone until it cools off. I have ruled out the Messenger & Skype apps being the issue since I have other Android phones with the latest app version updates of those, and no battery re-charge drain or overheating issues with those. But it'll also overheat when using other non-video or intense processing apps too in a short amount of time when it never did before. And I always clear out background running apps when I'm done using them every time... so that's not the issue either.

What makes this even more astonishingly absurd to me is, Android is a Google OS software and the Pixel line of phones are a Google hardware product... but yet the Android driven Pixel phones are the ones who seem to be arguably suffering the worst in many critical areas. It's almost as if they want to punish customers who chose to pay them money instead of going to a competitor. I'm beginning to think Google is now being ran & operated by BARD.

The rest of my complaints are more or less personal nit-picks like... can't remove the date & weather nor the Google search at the bottom from the home screen, can't increase the screen timeout time longer than 30-minutes, no LED indicator when the screen is off if there are new notifications or if the battery is done charging, random out of the blue phone restarts for no rhyme or reason even when there is no updates... to name a few.

Sadly, I can't return this purchase given that it's been over 30-days, and Google support is of no help either. So much for having a warranty when they won't honor it. I highly recommend staying away from Pixel phones.

Very good phone, smooth performance, large screen, and good storage capacity. But like other phones it is not waterproof and broke after I accidentally left it in my laundry. My advice is to not let water get anywhere near it. Also the battery life seems pretty short if your brightness is high.

The battery is 5000mAh and performance compared to my previous Huawei p30 pro 5 years older which was 4200 mAh is much lower.

The software is very stupid in logic.
There is no super charge just quick charge.
      Doesn't charge with Huawei chargers.
      Camera is good.
Again software logic is very stupid.
    • Funciona bien, la tapa de arriba de cae frecuentemente.
5.0 out of 5 stars Teléfono para muchos años a muy buen precio.
