It's Official: J.Crew Is Really, Truly Good Again

Noah co-founder Brendon Babenzien’s much-heralded appointment as J.Crew’s forthcoming men’s designer/Savior Who Was Promised hasn’t even officially begun yet, but his fingerprints are already popping up all over the stalwart mall chain’s latest drop. Behold, the Crew’s dingers-only Spring ’22 lookbook, styled (but not yet designed) by Babenzien himself:

We won’t get a real look at Babenzien’s full-scale reboot until later this fall, but if this sneak peek is any indication, be prepared to drop some major dollars at J.Crew like it’s 2012 all over again. Because not since that heady Tribeca Liquor Store heyday has J.Crew felt quite this finger-on-the-pulse relevant—stocked to the gills with the cable-knit vests, drape-y pleated trousers, and hardy striped rugbies of our springtime menswear dreams. All of it is infinitely wearable, effortlessly smart, and preposterously affordable. All of it belongs in your wardrobe.
