Bin stopped closingAlejandraI bought this trash bin about a year ago and the lid has stopped closing, leaving my kitchen with the smell of trash. I've resorted to putting a weighted object on top to keep the lid closed. I've tried fixing it and calling customer service for support, but it's either a 30 min phone wait or unanswered chat box. Will not be purchasing this bin again. 1
Pedal to open lid.TammyWhere can I get a replacement piece to step on? Thank you5
This can is trash (pun intended)JoelSeemed fine at first, but slowly the push lever has been harder and harder to push. I've nearly gotta stomp on it at this point. It also is angled up making it very uncomfortable.1

Nice sizeSusanThe step opener sticks causing the can to hit anything around it. The lid has no licking mechanism to stay open. The sign for price was for gray only. There was a white one I picked up but it was about $20 more.3
Elegant shape, but a littleAnthonyElegant shape, but a little too tall for 8 gallon bin liners.5

MjösaJosePerfect size for me, used to have a much larger trash can which makes people overstuff it. This works great and it has a slow close so it doesn't bang when you release the pedal.5

Very Small and Inconvenient For KitchenAshleyWe bought this to be a compact studio apartment kitchen trash. While there were no actual defects, its small size was incompatible with most trash bags, causing huge messes when the bags would fall down inside. It also filled extremely quickly so that it felt like just a few things made it start to overflow and get gross. The bottom edge is also very sharp and dangerous to any floor that's not carpet, so moving it around was a hassle, especially because it's hard to grip unless you use the tiny handle on the back--which makes it tip! The foot pedal was also hard and awkward to press. And the worst part: the big bucket handle inside would literally yank and squeeze the bag down while removing. Maybe this can would be good for recycling or something else that doesn't require a standard trash capacity or use of a bag. But for the average kitchen, I would not recommend!3
