Living far out in a rural area, I don't like having to worry that I will run out of battery when driving in the mountains with dodgy signal. This phone really packs a lot of battery into the standard android space! I actually find myself having to periodically remind myself NOT to charge it, so I can occasionally run down the battery enough to take care of the "memory" of the lithium ion battery (if you never let the battery run low, it will lose capacity as a result). It can play music shockingly loud, too! The default light of the screen is dimmer than usual but you can make it pretty bright.
One thing I miss from previous android phones is the ability to control whether the screen lights up in response to incoming notifications, without a sound or vibration at the same time. For whatever reason, they didn't include that option on this version.
Also, the volume control buttons default adjust media volume, not ringer or notification volume--even when you do not have media playing. It's annoying but not a deal breaker.
I've been using this phone for about a year now with no noticeable decline in battery life. It is on pretty much at all times. Overall, very reliable and well designed phone!

I had high hopes for this phone
Alright so I don't do reviews often but I feel like I have to for this one. I've had the phone a few days and here's what I noticedPros-Excellent Camera (is it the best out there no but for the price you can't beat it)Screen is beautiful all of the colors and when watching stuff online looks greatLove the placement of fingerprint scanner and headphone jack (headphone jack is at top, great if you use headphones while phone is in your pocket)Phone size is perfect for medium to bigger handsIt can be used on Spectrum (Verizon towers) so you don't have to do month to month plans as the phone is unlocked.The phone feels solid and you have a great grip with a decent case,I got a military grade case just to be sure as I work in a factory environment.Cons-Okay now to some cons I've noticed with the phone. I got the lower storage one (yes I have a big sd card) and just downloading a few apps and games that I had on my phone and it is full. Constantly get storage space is running low and phone lagging on most basic actions to the point where I have to restart the phone,please if you are using this phone for a decent amount of apps and games get the bigger storage option trust me it's worth it.Battery life well I don't know if I got a faulty phone or what but even on moderate usage (I wake up at 4am for work and get off at 4pm) my phone is at about 60ish pecent. Now a side note I work in a factory so I can't be on my phone very often other then breaks and lunch so it is not used alot. So needless to say I'm a little disappointed considering it is supposed to have around a 3 day battery life with moderate usage.Overall I'd give the phone a 6.5 out of 10 my Galaxy S10+ performs way better even though a majority of the specs are better then this phone. Before you get this phone do your own research of course since I'm just doing a review from my perspective and personal opinion. If you do get this phone like I said consider paying a bit more and getting the higher storage. Hopefully this review helped some of y'all!
