We lived for years with a pretty basic Ninja blender, so this Vitamix is light years beyond what we had before.I've been using it to make smoothies, soups, sauces, and even nut butters. It's so easy to use, and the cleanup is a breeze. The blender is also very stylish, and it looks great on my countertop. I highly recommend this blender to anyone who wants to make healthy and delicious meals at home.One of the limitations is the noise level is pretty high, so don't make a decision to buy this one because it's supposedly "quieter" than the next blender series that's cheaper. Another con is that you need to use the app to use this blender efficiently. The app recipes are great, but when my kids want to make a smoothie, I have to take a break from work and lend them the app on my phone just to do something as simple as this. I’ve had a Blendtec for several years and I wanted to upgrade to something newer. I love the ease of use and it’s not as loud as the Blendtec I had. I use it a lot so I feel like I already got my money’s worth! I would highly recommend.
