- Reviewed in the United States on November 2, 2022Color: Rosewood/RosewoodEdition: RegularVerified PurchasePurchased in April of 2021. Great for fitness tracking, sleep, etc. Better than more expensive Fitbits. In July of 2022, the connection to the band broke off. Not the band, I've gone through a number of bands, but the connector that goes from band to watch. Researched replacing watch. Decided best option was super glue band to connector. Now October 2022, band connector to watch itself has broken...researching replacements and still not to keep on any of the available upgrades, so I've now super glued two parts together. This is probably the last thing I can glue before watch definitely needs replacement. I'll probably buy the charge 4 again, because none of the Fitbit newer models seem to have all the features that the charge 4 has...possibly I should just glue the face to my arm
- Reviewed in the United States on January 26, 2025Color: Rosewood/RosewoodEdition: RegularVerified PurchaseI've tried other trackers, but nothing else is as easy to set up as the Fitbit line. Do not try to save money by buying something cheap that you wont be able to use.
- Reviewed in the United States on December 30, 2020Color: Rosewood/RosewoodEdition: RegularVerified PurchaseThis product does everything that it says it does and is very easy to use. The sleep tracking has been extremely beneficial, as have the customizable alarms that wake you up from light sleep so that it's easier to get up in the morning. The alarms are also nice because they work by vibrating, so there isn't a loud noise that would wake anyone you're living with. The heart rate monitor is fairly accurate, as is the pedometer and altimeter. The Active Zone tracking system was a great idea, and it makes it easy to tell how much quality exercise I'm getting in a week. The sedentary reminders are also really nice as someone who spends a lot of time at a desk. So far, everything has worked really well and with great accuracy, and it has helped me start getting in shape and start becoming healthier all-around using the breathing and mindfulness exercises. I would strongly recommend this watch to anyone who is looking to be healthier and doesn't know where to start, or who wants to track their current health, or who wants to track how they're responding to a new medication, etc. I love this watch, and it does a lot for the price. I almost bought the Inspire 2, but I'm glad I paid the extra money for all of the extra features on this watch.
- Reviewed in the United States on September 4, 2022Color: Rosewood/RosewoodEdition: RegularVerified PurchaseI primarily use the following features:
- Sleep tracking
- Step counting
- Tracking my Jogging (GPS/route tracking, time, Heart Rate, etc)
For the first two, it's all aces. Quite happy, though I don't always understand why it sometimes gets the more verbose sleep logging and others it doesn't. Step tracking is fine, though I mainly like the percentage circle (not micro-managing my steps).
The last one is why it loses some stars. I don't like having to deal with touch screen when I'm sweaty, it's unreliable. But the biggest irritation is that about 75% of the time, it won't connect to GPS and therefore doesn't accurately measure my route or distance and therefore doesn't have correct results. It's infuriating because I do the same route each time and sometimes it does, most times not, and I have no explanation why.
Other thoughts:
- Battery life is fine, no complaints
- The stock band is awful, I couldn't find a comfortable notch, but replaced with a stretchy one with variable sizes and it's sooo much better.
But the GPS issue is honestly one of the biggest reasons I didn't jump for the Charge 5, since my understanding is that the guts aren't much different. Your mileage may vary (if your GPS connects or not, hah).
- Reviewed in the United States on June 2, 2020Color: Rosewood/RosewoodEdition: RegularVerified PurchaseUPDATE: Despite how expensive this thing was, it broke in a few months. Just completely stopped working. Cheap piece of garbage not worth the money!
This is my first Fitbit and it was not a good experience. The Charge 4 gave me a lot of trouble initially starting it up and getting it to connect to the Fitbit app. I even had to contact customer service and it took several tries. After that, I've been using it a few weeks to test it out and so far, the performance has not been worth the $150. The accuracy is pretty good and I enjoy the sleep mode (when it works), that it measures heartbeat and steps and calories burned and whatnot. That's all good. However one of the promises of this Fitbit is that it can connect to Spotify through the Fitbit. I have done everything necessary to try and set it up but my Fitbit refuses to link up with the app. Considering this is one of the main reasons I bought the Charge 4, I'm extremely disappointed.
There's also really not much to the Charge 4. I thought I did my research beforehand pretty well but apparently I missed that the apps you can use with Fitbit really only work with the Versa's according to the Fitbit app store.
Basically, the Charge 4 isn't bad but it's just a tracker. I could have bought one of the much, much cheaper fitbits and gotten the exact same results. So the Charge 4 doesn't give anything special to its customers aside from being waterproof and able to track heartbeat (which a few other models do too). There's nothing in particular that makes having this model worth it and I'm pretty upset that I spent $150 on a Fitbit that barely works, constantly has issues, can't use apps in general or even the apps it promised such as Spotify, and has no interaction with the screen besides scrolling to look at stats.
I might look into other models of Fitbit but honestly, this hasn't been a good first impression and it doesn't make me want to buy their products in the future.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great value!
Color: Rosewood/RosewoodEdition: RegularVerified PurchaseLove my fitbit for the features I use. I have owned this Fitbit since August and have not been disappointed. It works reliably, synchronises with the Fitbit app. I use the basic features of exercise, steps, sleep analysis and fluid count. It maintains its charge for an average 4 days.
I give it credit for disciplining my daily health and fitness.

5.0 out of 5 stars Fitness tracker quasi perfetto

5.0 out of 5 stars fits nice and is durable
Color: Rosewood/RosewoodEdition: RegularVerified PurchaseI had the Fitbit Charge HR back in 2016. It was a weird "pill" shaped dohickie that slid into a rubber jacket cozy kind of wrist strap. This one seems to be an evolution of design for the strap. Likely they took into consideration the feedback from customers who had the old design and complained the wristband degraded after only a couple months of regular wear use.
This band feels comfortable and is not wearing out fast. But, it is also easy to replace too if it does.
I like how this has a GPS in it. I am able to track my walk and jogging now without needing to have runkeeper or some other app and a smartphone with me. I sort of prefer to just go out for exercise with a regular MP3 player and basic wired headphones, and not even bring the special and expensive smart phone with me right. So the GPS is a welcome nice feature that can give Garmin sport watches a run for their money.
