I’ve been a loyal listener for the past 10 years- I started in high-school and now I’m a 28 year old anthologist all thanks to this podcast. I thought the world would be a little lost without us but Aaron- you inspired me to continue with my passion. All I can say is thank you for inspiring young me and still supporting me now.

I’ve listened to this show for nearly as long as it’s been going, and I’m done. When I heard ten minutes of how horrible life was for French nuns, but that they all did it anyway, just to get away from men and the patriarchy, I realized this show had lost the plot. It’s not historically accurate at all, and if a show about history isn’t accurate, what’s the point? Every episode now finds some way to blame white men for something, no matter how tenuous the cause or how far it needed to be stretched, almost as if that’s the focus and intent now. It’s all so tiresome. Lore is no longer a show about accurate history. It’s just story time from a white man with so much self loathing it affects everything he does. So, if you want to see an example of a white man ruining something, look no further than how Aaron Mahnke has ruined his own show with his self hatred.
