I haven’t straightened my hair in over 8 years. I went on a whim and bought a flat iron to finally straighten my hair. I blowdried my hair straight and then I went in with the flat iron. This flat iron did an amazing job, especially for how cheep it is. I was also able to give my hair some curls with the flat iron. It did a wonderful job!

I bought this straightener to replace my old Revlon 10" straightener. It works well and heats up fast; I like the precise temperature controls, and the hinge closes and locks for storage. At 11.5" long, it's too large and clunky for travel. I keep a small dual voltage iron in my suitcase for that. After looking at many brands and models, this one is a good choice. My only complaint: the temperature lock feature only works temporarily while it's on. You cannot turn the iron off while it's locked, and your preferred temperature does not carry over the next time you turn it on. I hoped I could lock it to keep my preferred temperature. So what's the point of even having this feature? For this reason I am giving this iron 4 stars instead of 5. Otherwise it's great. Also, I highly recommend reading the instructions - it was hard to figure out at first.

I bought this for my office. Rather than sitting in traffic, I go in early and workout. I use my Quest 3 to workout, this makes my hair VERY disheveled between the head strap and perspiration! So I realized I needed another flat iron for my office. I purchased this one after reading reviews but I was still reluctant. I knew I could send it back if it just didn't work as I needed. I was very surprised that it has worked lovely! I would say this flat iron works better than the 58.00 I bought for home! I can tame fly aways, get my hair evenly styled, removing the strap "moulding" from my VR headset and fluff my hair if I need. It does not dry out my hair but I use it at 300 to assist and I spray my hair with a heat protective product before I leave to work. I barely use my home flat iron now because this one works THAT well!

La plancha calienta muy bien, mi cabello es medio ondulado y en 430grados me funciona bien, tal vez si tengas el cabello muy chino tengas que darle mas pasadas, pero queda muy brilloso y liso, por precio y calidad cumple con las expectativas; además de que Remington siempre es una marca buena que con sus cuidados puede durarte años, vengo de una plancha que me duro 7 años con precio de 500 pesos.

El producto llego 4 días antes de su fecha estimada, en muy buenas condiciones el paquete de la plancha sin abrir.
