I've been using these gloves for the past few months and they're great. I'm a male, 6'1" with average sized hands, and I use the Large size. My wife is 5'5" and she is using the Medium size. They are definitely thick, and reminded me of high school chemistry class (reaching into some dangerous chemical like sulfuric acid with heavy gloves on). Maybe not quite that thick, but they're thicker than average gloves. The finger tips are slightly textured which makes gripping dishes easier. The heat resistance is solid, although I haven't used them to grab a hot pan from the oven. I did grab a pot of boiling water from the stove to dump pasta into a strainer, and the handles were hot, but the heat insulation on the gloves made it totally fine. Definitely recommend these.

These gloves are awesome! I was extremely surprised at how durable these gloves are considering how much they are each. You could get these gloves in store and the material is not as nice as these ones and you get more for the price you pay. In term of weight, the gloves are relatively light. They are thick so it is hard for them to break and make them last a lot longer. With the thicker material, you are still able to move your fingers and such without much issues. The inside grips pretty well so you do not have to worry about sliding out of the gloves super easy. The gloves also grip well on the outside so you are able to grab plates and such with ease. These are great for just doing your dish washing or some home repair if you do not want to get your hands dirty. They are also very easy to wash themselves. Short of stabbing or cutting this, the material is very durable. They also are pretty much a universal size which is nice for my parents. They cover your hands really well and have some temperature resistance which is nice. I can do hot water dish washing without discomfort or burn. The gloves do have a bit of smell to them (new rubber). I just washed it and air dried them to get rid of the adverse smell. They are also easy to store. With several in one pack, I still have not gone to the next pair yet because of how durable they are. Overall you definitely get more bang for your buck with this. The material on these gloves are a lot stronger in my opinion then the gloves you get at the store and you get more for the price. They do not wear down very quick and fit comfortably. It also does not irritate my skin.

Vgo 10-Pairs Reusable Household Gloves - XL, not so much

I ordered the Vgo 10-Pairs Reusable Household Gloves, Rubber Dishwashing gloves, Extra Thickness, Long Sleeves, Kitchen Cleaning, Working, Painting, Gardening, Pet Care (Size XL, Yellow, HH4601) when my brother got COVID. I wanted something I could use to pick up/wash dishes and to clean the kitchen while he was quarantining. Because I'm not a small person, I ordered XL so they would fit but be loose on my forearms. I have used these in burning hot, soapy water and when moving stuff around in the freezer. While my hands do feel the heat and the cold, these are protective enough that I don't feel the burn from either. They're pretty easy to put on and take off -- as long as your hands are DRY. Once wet, the gloves suction to your skin making hard to pull them on and off. The outside is textured so grabbing and holding onto dishes has been relatively easy. They're durable -- the sets I have used are still in use after 18+ months.

My issues with the glove are with their sizing. They only seem to be XL in the "glove" part. That is, I have an inch or more of space between my fingertips and the tips of the gloved fingers and they're loose on my hands. It took some time to get used to that, but I've made do. However, the main problem is that they are not XL in the sleeve area. That is, the sleeves are 1) shorter than other brands so they don't make it to the elbow -- mid forearm at best and I have short arms; and 2) tighter than I figured they would be for XL. My hands swim in them, but they're tight at the other end. I could live with the mid-arm length and tightness IF they didn't roll/fold down my arms. THIS IS THE MAIN AND WORST PROBLEM WITH THESE GLOVES. They wind up sitting just above my wrists, making it difficult (impossible) to stick my arms into deep sink water. Doing so means water seeps into the glove ratcheting up the suction making them difficult to remove. Plus your hands get wet/water logged and/or, depending on the water, dirty -- ick!

So while I find their durability, heat resistance, and use for deep cleaning to be 4-star, I can only rate these as 3-star because they're ill-fitting and not very useful for protecting forearms. They're better than nothing, but I don't think I would order them again without really shopping around for something that might fit better, thus protecting the forearms as well as the hands.

They lasted longer than most. I am convinced that gloves used for the dishes simply don't last long. We can go to the moon but we can get dish washing gloves to last worth a lick! Just ends up in a landfill.
