Welcome to our five custom-built properties: the Black Bear Lodge, the Barred Owl Lodge, the White Pine Loft, and our new Cottage Collection properties, the Black Walnut Cottage & the Blue Birch Cottage.  Indoors, all properties feature cozy white pine walls and ceilings, gourmet kitchen w/SS appliances, living room w/fireplace, bedroom(s) outfitted in Egyptian cotton linens, spacious bathroom(s) w/either a Jucuzzi brand freestanding soaking tub or oversized bath tub, and WiFi. Outdoors, all properties offer a private hot tub, firepit under the stars, Weber propane grill, and comfortable outdoor furniture. Each property offers a distinct view (direct mountain facing views, more secluded wooded views, or peek-a-boo mountain views) and absolutely luxurious finishes.  The owners (Jim & Lisa) take hospitality seriously and provide impeccably clean properties, constantly upgraded furnishings and amenities, and are always just a text or call away for anything you may need.

Located in the heart of the Shenandoah Valley, Luray Mountain Cabins’ properties are only minutes away from everything: Shenandoah National Park & Skyline Drive, Luray Caverns, Shenandoah River rafting/tubing, Lake Arrowhead, Massanutten Ski Resort, wineries/craft breweries, horseback riding, zip lining, historical sites, and so much more. Explore the quaint towns of Luray, Stanley, New Market, Elkton, and Shenandoah – all within minutes of the properties.

Guests need to only bring their clothes, their toiletries, and their groceries as the owners have stocked these properties with all the comforts of home so that you only need to come, relax, and enjoy the mountains!

The Black Bear Lodge: Stunning Mountain Views!

The Black Bear Lodge is perfect for couples or families who want unobstructed, breathtaking mountain views. 

Facing Shenandoah National Park and Skyline Drive, this gorgeous, custom-built cabin offers our most breathtaking, direct mountain-facing views. The Black Bear Lodge provides plenty of space for everyone while retaining its romantic, luxurious, and super relaxing personality. Couples: don’t be scared off by the size, many couples stay here and utilize only the upper
level as it has all you need and is super cozy & romantic!

The Barred Owl Lodge: Peace & Privacy

The Barred Owl Lodge is ideal for couples or small groups who are looking for peace and privacy in a beautiful mountain cabin.

This impeccably clean custom-built property is located higher on the mountain and offers our most private and secluded feel with wooded acreage and peek-a-boo mountain views in winter months. Wildlife sightings (owl, deer, hawk, and yes, even an occasional bear) are the most common from this home.

It features all the amenities, privacy and luxury of our larger cabins but downsized to perfectly fit a couple (plus a small child poss).
