I love this product but I am rating it a 3 out of 5 because only half my order is intact. Requesting a replacement is a nightmare and still trying to figure it out.

I avoid sugar and artificial sweeteners. I use this as a substitute in cooking. It’s not as sweet, which I prefer. It doesn’t have the addictive rush of sugar. Good if you’re trying to ween yourself from a sweet tooth.

I am pleased with this product. It has a sweet taste and is thick but not as thick as honey and had a good taste and flavor. I purchased it for a salad recipe that is good for the liver, prior to that I never heard of it. This worked well in my recipe and I will order it again because it worked well in my recipe and I will order it again because I will continue to make my recipe. This rice syrup is high quality organic one and is a good choice. Would highly recommend it and it is worth the money.

I bought this to make homemade granola bars without a terribly high sugar content. This syrup is plenty thick, and when mixed with almond butter, it’s an effective binder. It doesn’t taste terribly sweet, and in fact doesn’t have any particularly strong taste. It is pretty messy to pour, and in fact the outside of the jar was sticky before I even opened it (it’s stickier now). Once I’ve used this up, I may just use light Karo syrup instead for the comparative convenience, even though I’m a fan of Lundberg and buy several other products from them.

I’ve never purchased this before so I wasn’t sure what to expect. It’s super thick, as thick, if not thicker than honey, but not nearly as sweet. It did seem a little expensive to me for what I was getting, but I don’t know what all goes into the process and manufacturing to make this stuff, it could be a more difficult process, who knows, I’m sure they’d try to justify the cost somehow. Anyhow, I purchased it for a recipe that called for it, prior to that, I’d never even heard of it to be honest, while it is a high quality product, I’ll probably never buy it again since for me, it was a one time purchase for a recipe (which I wasn’t thrilled with, and won’t make again) But if you need rice syrup, and want a high quality, organic one, this is a good choice! I would recommend it.

I had been meaning to buy brown rice syrup for awhile, but never really hunkered down and bought some. It was recommended to me because I'm insulin resistant and this type of sugar doesn't spike your blood sugar level like others do - it's a more steady rise. I didn't know what to expect - I hadn't had it before and was under the impression that it would taste like brown rice, which I'm not a fan of. So, when I first got it, I opened it up and took a little teaspoon-full of it and was surprised how good it tasted. Like a cross between honey and syrup. It's delicious. I can't wait to use this in anything from oatmeal to hot tea. Highly recommend!

When the product arrived, the box was soaked in syrup. When I went to see what happened the bottom of the jar was shattered which I found out because I cut my hand on it (still bleeding as I write this review). The syrup that didn't leak out had glass shards in it so it was totally un-salvageable. When I went to return the item I was told it wasn't eligible for a refund and this syrup was incredibly expensive. Completely unfair, awful experience.
