- Reviewed in the United States on March 1, 2025Size: RegularColor: Matte Black / G15 GreenVerified PurchaseThe Meta Ray-Ban Smart Glasses are an absolute game-changer for anyone who loves capturing moments effortlessly. The hands-free photo and video capabilities are incredibly convenient—whether I’m out for a walk, playing with my kids, or just want to snap a quick shot without reaching for my phone, the built-in camera delivers crisp, natural-looking images. It’s like having a personal photographer with me at all times.
The integrated AI assistant is another standout feature. Having instant access to information, navigation, and even real-time translations without pulling out my phone is genuinely useful. Whether I need quick directions or just want to check the weather, the AI responds seamlessly. Plus, the built-in speakers offer surprisingly clear audio, making it easy to take calls or listen to music without losing awareness of my surroundings.
That said, no product is perfect. The battery life could be better, especially if you’re frequently using the camera and AI features throughout the day. Additionally, low-light performance for photos isn’t as strong as a high-end smartphone, so while daytime shots look great, nighttime or indoor photos may not be as sharp. Some users might also wish for stronger AR functionality, but for what it offers now, the glasses strike a great balance between practicality and style.
Overall, the Meta Ray-Bans are a sleek, futuristic, and genuinely useful wearable. If you love hands-free convenience and want to integrate smart tech into your daily routine seamlessly, they’re absolutely worth it!

- Reviewed in the United States on February 22, 2025Size: RegularColor: Shiny Black / G15 GreenVerified PurchaseThe glasses have that classic Ray-Ban style that looks great with just about any outfit. The lenses are high quality, and they offer great clarity and protection, making them perfect for everyday wear.
The build of the frames feels sturdy and durable, which is what you would expect from Ray-Ban. The fit is comfortable for the most part, but I do find that they feel a little tight around my temples after wearing them for a few hours. It’s not a dealbreaker, but something to keep in mind if you have a wider face or prefer a looser fit.
The Meta functionality, which is integrated into the glasses, is a cool feature, but I found the setup process a little tricky at first. Once I figured it out, it was smooth sailing, and it’s a fun addition to the glasses.

What I Loved
• Hands-Free Content Creation: These glasses have made it incredibly easy to record high-quality videos while keeping my hands free. As a content creator, I love giving my audience a first-person view of what I’m doing, and the ease of snapping photos or shooting videos on the go is unmatched.
• Stylish and Discreet Design: The Wayfarer style is a timeless classic, and over 99% of people won’t even realize these are smart glasses. I get all the benefits of advanced tech without sacrificing style.
• Polarized Lens Quality: The clarity of the polarized lenses is unreal. They block out the sun beautifully, especially in Florida’s intense sunlight, and make driving feel sharper and more vibrant.
• Immersive Sound Quality: Listening to music and taking calls without earbuds is an incredible experience. The sound is immersive, theater-like, and subtle enough that people nearby won’t hear it. I even had a crystal-clear call with my dad, and he had no idea I was using glasses for audio!
The Cons
• Transition Lenses Fall Short Outdoors: While they’re great indoors, the transition lenses don’t adapt quickly enough to the Florida sun and don’t block out glare as effectively as polarized lenses. If you need strong sun protection, go for the polarized option.
• “Hey Meta” Feature is a Letdown: This was the biggest disappointment. The voice assistant is unreliable and drains the battery rapidly. For example, when I asked it to delete a video, it looped endlessly without actually doing it. It also struggled with recognizing objects—I asked about a man-made mountain, and it gave me a completely inaccurate answer. I’ve since turned this feature off.
• Battery Life with “Hey Meta”: With the assistant on, the battery drained by 10% for a 3-minute video. Turning it off drastically improved performance—only 1% battery drain for the same recording length. If you want the glasses to last all day, keep “Hey Meta” off.
• Fit Needed Adjustments: Out of the box, the glasses were slightly heavy and slid down my nose. Adding nose pads resolved the issue and made them much more comfortable for extended wear.
Overall Thoughts
These glasses excel in hands-free convenience, exceptional call quality, and immersive sound, all wrapped in a stylish, discreet design. While the “Hey Meta” feature fell short and the battery life could be better with it enabled, turning it off made a world of difference.
If you’re looking for stylish smart glasses that deliver high-quality content creation and audio, I highly recommend these—especially the polarized lenses. They’ve exceeded my expectations in so many ways and are now a daily essential for me!

5.0 out of 5 stars Wow! Great Sunglasses with Technology
Size: RegularColor: Matte Black/ Polarized Gradient GraphiteVerified PurchaseThe media could not be loaded.
The glasses are not heavy whatsoever and look like an ordinary pair of Wayfairers but ever so slightly more bulky due to the camera. Setup with the app was easy as well and all the photos and videos (only up to a minute) will download into your app via wifi and you can load them to your phone.
I will say the angle of the camera is a little odd so it’s not exactly what you’re seeing through your lens (seek video) but these are such cool polarized glasses. The translation feature is not great but it’s absolutely amazing that if you ask Meta what’s in front of you it can identify. It’s like a built in Siri or Google! Listening to Spotify or anything on your glasses is not totally sound proof, but the volume is low so others can somewhat hear what you’re listening too. Photo quality of course isn’t as great as your phone camera but the video is cool with the wide lense
Otherwise such a fun gadget and would recommend
