I got this because I bought a new, sturdy phone case for my phone and didn’t want to break the little tab that covers the charging port by opening and closing it every time I needed a battery boost during the day. I have a really good portable charger, but it is still dependent on cables. This seemed a more elegant solution than attaching my phone to a magnetic charger plugged in to my portable charger.
It works as predicted and does what I need. I was, however, a bit surprised that I didn’t get a little more charge out of it. It will give one full charge, and that’s all. If I use my phone while it is charging, it will not fully charge the phone. That isn’t unexpected, and usually it’s enough to get me through the day until bedtime.
Regardless, this little charger works well, and charges fairly quickly. It also recharges really quickly when you plug it in for more juice. Well worth the money spent.
The little ring on the back makes it easier to hold the phone with the battery attached, and also works well as a phone stand.
