      It took me quite a while to finally get this thing to work. I actually opened a chat with Linksys support and was pleasantly surprised at the assistance I got. We eventually figured it out and the setup was complete. Next I put the extender in what I felt was a logical location so I could get the signal I needed throughout the house. I am amazed at how well it works. If you can just get through the setup, you will really be impressed with how much wifi you get. I figured at 80 bucks this better work, and - it does! Worth the money.

      I’ve had this extender for a few months and when it works it is great, however, I have to reconnect it to the router almost weekly. I have moved it to every outlet in the house, even outlets in the same room as the router and without fail it disconnects even when there isn’t a disruption in the service. I would return this if I could because it isn’t worth the hassle.

      I have two separate ISPs, one has a Netgear Nighthawk, which connected flawlessly with the WPS buttons. The other network (which is what I need this for) is a CenturyLink Technicolor modem/router combo. It was a huge pain to get this connected. WPS was no help, adding the MAC/pin was no help, the extender would never accept my network password, either. I ended up turning off MAC authentication, removing security to create an open/unsecured network, and it finally connected. From there, I had to add WPA2-AES only back to the modem/router, and then was able to login to the extender snd match the passwords.
      After all that, it does pick up the weak modem signal pretty well, but also does not broadcast it very well either. It will work for what I need right now (feeding an outside wireless camera), but it's definitely not an amazing product.
