what a lovely app! as i've gotten in the habit of checking in regularly, it's become exponentially more helpful. noticing thought distortions and reframing is truly such a powerful tool, and to have a completely free app that walks you through it while also teaching you other things and providing other tools is amazing. i agree with the person who said choosing your emotion is a bit frustrating, and i would definitely prefer to see one comprehensive list, but that's just a tiny little thing.

I love the conversations and the CBT techniques Woebot uses to help me reframe cognitive distortions. I feel like I'm making good progress, however, the mindfulness tools are not good for helping me to calm down. And "talking" someone through mindfulness via text is extremely unhelpful. So, I use a separate app for that. Also, it doesn't always get every cognitive distortion right. The stories and lessons are great though.

This app is great. The one way I can think it could improve is if there was some sort of button or hanging subtitle that could stay with you as you continue your conversation with Woebot when Woebot is performing a specific task with you. For example, if you are working through a negative thought, you could have either a button that reveals that thought on a click or a subtitle that is constantly showing it as you are working. I often forget the thought I'm working on and have to scroll up.
