It's a very affordable lens with extremely high quality for its price. The bokeh is huge, making it a 10/10 lens for photos considering the cost—nothing bad to say in that regard. However, it makes some noise when focusing—not very loud, but sometimes noticeable in recordings. So, I wouldn’t highly recommend it for video. Still, I’m not lowering the rating for this because I don’t think it’s designed for that purpose, but I wanted to mention it so you’re aware.

Ran home from work just to try this lense. I have many lenses but the 70-200mm never leaves my camera but I wanted something small to do portraits. It’s not as fast but does amazing. A little noisy but I don’t mind. I snapped a quick picture of my dog and it did great on low light with a moving pup. Captured her amazing colors really nicely.
It is super light. Mostly soft material. Plastic compared to my other Sony/Tamron lenses but you get what you pay for. For the price, can’t beat it!
