Q: The photos don't show the back of the timer. Does the timer need to be plugged into a 2 pronged or 3 pronged outlet?

Q: Can you tell me in steps how to use this timer?
A: Hello Valued Customer, thank you for your question. 1.) Ensure all segments are pulled UP before programming. 2.) Select the period or periods you want the device turned on by pushing DOWN all the segments that fall on or within that time period. You may need to turn the dial clockwise to push down the segments. 3.) Turn the rotating timer dial clockwise until the pointer on the face of the dial aligns with the current time. 4.) Set the master switch (3) to the TIMER ON position.
