Formulated with Marula and Moringa Seed Oil, it replenishes and locks in moisture while helping protect hair from future breakage. This clean, color safe conditioner leaves hair with 72 hours of hair hydration and frizz reduction, 6x hydration and 5x stronger strands after one use.*

Suggested use

This is a review of “ VEGAMOUR HYDR-8 Hydrate and Repair Conditioner"[As a as vine reviewer, I am pledging not to be compensated or influenced by the vendor; I state my opinions based on my personal experience without any bias or pressure]The Vegamour brand is an ultra-high American brand with high eco-credentials. This particular product continues the illustrious lineage of fantastic products that do not harm the environment and do good for your body and wellness.This conditioner is aimed at calming your hair but it does a lot more than that. From the moment you open the package, you can tell that this is a very high end product that you will see in use in luxury spas. This totally vegan conditioner is exceptionally rich in every way: its scent is heady (almost like vanilla) and brings lustre into your hair. You can tell the difference from the first use, and it takes only two minutes of rubbing into your hair and the results are immediately evident after you rinse.The product was tried by the two adults in the house, one of whom is the queen of beauty who can be both picky and an expert of sorts. The verdict was unanimous: the conditioner is unlike anything we have tried and its feel-good effect was evident.We also liked that the golden colored lid is built right into the tube. This eco-friendly trick is appreciated as a way to reduce plastic waste. You can obviously recycle this one piece tube.The tube itself is actually not small by any means and will last you a couple of months. Yes, it is pricey and we will get to that in a minute.A couple of quick suggestions on how to make the most out of this product. First, while you can use any shampoo, make sure you have removed the traces of shampoo by a good rinse of your hair before applying this conditioner. The conditioner being quite light you may not see the effect otherwise. Second, since the cap is built into the tube that you open or close by twisting, we suggest you to wipe the lid clean after you close it and lay it sideways. This is an important tip, otherwise the tube could leak. The manufacturer has taken extraordinary pains to demonstrate how thoughtful they are in making this product. It lists all credentials, such as being totally vegan and recyclable. This is an American made product and you see such products coming only from Germany or France. We found the product to be exceptionally effective in being not just a good clean conditioner, but also a nice smelling one at that.Now the million or at least $40 question: would you spend that kind of money on one tube of conditioner - pay X10 the going price? Our answer to this question is a nuanced one and probably not a popular one. We ask if you are going to buy this product every day or treat it as a luxury purchase that you do only with a recommendation and infrequently. If it is the latter, take our word for it: you have not seen anything like this and we belielve that this a product worth the five star rating from us.
