Not durable (hole in the outsole within 300 miles) ...and abnormal fit/design?
I've also never had a pair of non-minimalist shoes wear our as fast as this.I've never had an outsole wear from the center. I usually see my outsoles wear on the front, outer edges — I tend to supinate. This unusual wear pattern indicates that my disappointing experience with the shoe could be related to a difference in the way this shoe is designed/manufactured compared to other shoes I run and hike in.I tried this model after being disappointed by the rigidity of this brand's Norvan SL with Goretex.I hope I don't make the mistake of trying another shoe from this brand. There are plenty of other brands that haven't disappointed me as much as this one.

The sole separated within 2 days of wearing them around the house and makes a horrible squeak with every step. I called customer support and they were not willing to help. Horrible product, horrible customer support with Arcteryx. Shame on them.

Huge outsole for long distances, great looks, waterproof BUT breathable and great grip. What more can you ask for. Even though they're very expensive I bought two more pairs just because they have no match what so ever!

Arc'teryz cannot make waterproof shoes. Avoid. They have taken Norvan Nivalis and Vortex GTX off market - too many customer returns. Customer service rigid & not providing refund options. Boycott.

Not goretex. All my 4 pairs purchased prior from other sights claiming GTX delivered. No goretex lining was in this pair. Comfortable but overpriced and falsely advertised...!!
