The rubber edges have a matte texture which provides good grip. There's a ridge protecting the screen and one around the cameras so you can lay the phone down without the glass touching anything. The buttons actually enhance the ergonomics of the iPhone buttons, making them easier to locate and press. The exception is the camera button which, being a capacitive sensor needs to be accessible directly to your finger. The camera button has a nice, wide cutout which makes it easier to locate compared with the iPhone out of the case. The integrated kickstand is great as long as the hinge holds up--time will tell on that. The look is simultaneously high tech and rugged. It looks like the phone case the Master Chief from Halo would choose if he had a smartphone! I like that they left out the fake bolts that adorn some of the prior UAG cases I've owned. It is a well designed case made of premium materials that really enhances and protect the iPhone. I highly recommend it.

Strong case with stand
Wasn't sure what to expect, but it was even better than expected. Very sturdy and with the stand you can either have portrait or landscape hands-free. Even does wireless charge with the case. Not too bulky. I did do a bit of research to make sure that I ordered the right case with the right protection. Glad I choose this one.

I have been a fan of UAG for a long time I trusted that the built in ring would be made of quality metal… That was not the case after using as a stand one time the metal deformed and became bent making my MagSafe no longer work. Unfortunately UAG swung and missed on what could have been a great case.

I can only compare this with the Spiegen Ultra Hybrid case that I also got and which was replaced by the UAG. The UAG Plyo provides better protection in every way without looking that much bulkier. The iPhone's camera module is better protected by the surrounding which has more depth/extension compared to that of the Spiegen's. Same goes for the front of the iPhone which is protected by the deeper "skirt". The corners of the case also have more material compared to the Spiegen's.CyclocommuterExcellent protection, looks good

The case is not slippery at all and the semi transparent material allows the beauty of the iPhone design to be more readily apparent. The Magsafe ring also works well with Magsafe chargers.
