Edit 12/6/22: Stealtho reached out and offered to replace my set of wheels after improvements were made following customer feedback. The rep I spoke with stated they're using a new method of attaching the post so (hopefully) the separation issue is solved. While outwardly similar to the previous set, the new model I received has a beefier collar supporting the post that goes into the chair so I'm hoping that that and the internal redesigns are enough. I'll update my review should new/old issues arise. Edit 5/21/21: added a photo of the issue I discussed in my review. The axel turns out to not be removable so, with the aid of some vicegrips and a readily available ball end allen wrench, I tightened up the bolt and abandoned the idea of threadlok. Only took five minutes to check all of them and tighten them up a bit. If you're not in the habit of checking your chair every couple of months it's recommended as a little routine maintenance can be the difference between just having to tighten a bolt or breaking something or everything. I ordered these Jan. 24 2020 and the day of my review is May 16 2021, and this is for the non-locking version. For any context you might need I currently weigh a bit north of 200lbs (down from 250, though I partially blame the lockdown and easy access to snacks) and typically use my chair for 3-5hrs on work days and well over 12hrs/day on weekends. During lockdown my wife and I have sat in this chair together and these wheels were durable enough to support almost 400lbs as we rolled across the kitchen floor like maniacs right after putting these on. My computer and hobby desk is set up in a second bedroom so the thick carpet played havoc on the standard casters that came with my chair so after getting a workout throughout COVID lockdown I finally caved and went in search for replacement. I couldn't get details from a set of Herman Millers on the stem size before they went out of stock but these Stealtho wheels stood out from the rest of the offerings by merit of their design, and were also about $100 cheaper. I was ready to make a temporary upgrade till they came back in stock but these have held up to the point my first choice have been back in stock but I don't see the need to change, though one thing about them has me irked* which I'll get to later. If you have a chair on thicker-than-typical-office carpet, rollerblade style wheels like this are what you need if you move your chair frequently and don't want it to be a battle. I'm happy to say Stealtho wheels traverse over carpet fairly easily and, if you're on a hard surface, they roll like butter. I later upgraded to a polycarbonate chair mat so I get almost the same experience, though I've yet to find one large enough for my needs. That bring up a further bonus of oversized chair wheels which many people don't account for and that is they're much better for going OVER things, so when my chair occasionally rolls off the mat it's very easy to just get back on compared to what I imagine it is like with the stock office wheels. Cords also get rolled over easier, though that's neither a pro nor a con. First off, just toss any consideration of the the glow in the dark feature out - they barely glow and certainly not enough to warn you of your chair's location in the dark before your eyes would naturally adjust to the darkness. Second, these are very much opaque and not clear or semi-translucent as the pictures might make them appear. Last of these bullet points, if you're looking for a quiet roll, these are almost silent aside from a squeak or two which I blame more on the polycarbonate mat than the wheels themselves though they might slightly be at fault (see further down for my one gripe). When I spoke about their design a few things stuck out - rounded, smooth edges. I tend to fidget with my feet when I'm absorbed or rest them on the legs of the chair and I have yet to be poked by any corners and the structure of these wheels doesn't jut out from under the legs of the chair. The boxy body of other wheels can have this issue and if you've ever had your foot slip off onto the sharp corner of a caster it's not fun! I can also confirm that these did not mark my kitchen floor and have left ZERO marks on my mat and furthermore, despite a year and closing in on six months of heavy use, the elastic polyurethane of the wheels hasn't worn down * -----> Now then, my one gripe. While I've not experienced any mechanical or structural failure, if you would scroll up to the 2nd picture of the wheel from a low camera angle. If you follow the stem down under the wheel body you'll see a bolt. This is a hex/allen wrench bolt which the stem connects to. The issue I've found is one of my five wheels has developed a very minor lateral tilt because the stem and this bolt have come partially unscrewed which causes a temporary bind when the wheel needs to rotate to a different orientation. I can hand tighten by holding the small plate the bolt sits on which solves the issue short term, but because of clearance with the wheel I can't get a hex wrench in to actually get some resistance to tighten the stem up. I'm planning to see if I can get the axel off to disassemble each wheel and, after examining if it would help, maybe put some locktite threadlocker on to make it a permanent fix. Will update review if this is possible for those fellow DIY'ers. Overall, if you're looking for an upgrade to an office chair, I would say the $40 price tag may initially seem a bit high but if you get as much use as I have out of these they're a good purchase.

Sometimes these wheels work TOO well and I have to catch myself as I'm flying across the room to my printer now! LOL
These wheels are slightly taller than your average computer chair wheels. They also are completely silent. My old wheels dragged across the floor and ruined my laminate flooring and would make horrible scraping sounds, but these are smooth and hardly make a sound. I couldn't be happier with them!
Overal 10/10 buy. Would buy again. Highly recommend!

I have a disability that makes it difficult to get around. I cant afford any of those special mobility products so I scoot around on an old office chair. Our whole house has tile flooring. and while I use the chair mostly in the kitchen (cooking, etc.)moving around like this gets to be a chore after a while because pulling forward puts a lot of strain on my lower back and knees. Going backward is fine except, well no matter the direction, my legs and back start to hurt terribly and getting over the wide grout joints that I inevitably get stuck in can be impossible without half standing and pulling the chair behind. Then the clunk, clunk, clunk sound and impact sending shockwaves up my spine, cuts short any activity I may be in the middle of. The other thing is the scraping sound of the plastic wheels on the beautiful finish on the glazed tiles leaves me in fear of making a gouge or breaking a wheel and possibly toppling over. OK enough of the back story here.

One day on a whim, I did a search on replacement wheels for office chairs. I wasn't counting on getting a hit but when 100's of choices came up I was shocked. My girl-wife(?) wife-friend(?) significant something(?) something partner(?) shook her head and laughed because she knows that once again (like 100s of other times) I will be lost in "research" (web searches), entries in my notebook, head scratching, yammering on to her about the history of the product, asking her opinion, (which is always either "I don't care" or "whatever you decide or makes you happy.") then pulling the plug (hitting the enter key on the order. This is followed by what used to be days of anxiety, that feeling you get after leaving the car dealership with your new car. You did the research, you negotiated, you stood firm, you walked, went back and finally "pulled the plug." Now for hours of signing papers, detailing the car, doing whatever "secret stuff" car dealers do. Then you leave, confident that back at the dealership they're all high fiving, laughing, opening champagne, all because they can't believe they found someone to buy that 4 wheeled lemon. You are positive something is going to break on the drive home. The next few days you show it to your family, friends, coworkers and you're sure that they too are snickering and saying things like how they've "never seen such an ugly vehicle", "isn't that the worst rated vehicle ever?" , "I wouldn't take it for free...." etc. Anyway.......Thanks to Amazon, our wait is now (in my area anyway) only 2 days and many times just one. Here they are. I get the message on my phone that they are delivered and LOOK! Thats them leaning up against the wall next to the front door....MY WHEELS!!!

So seriously. The package was absolutely beautiful and upon opening there is some papers describing the product and showing how easy it's going to be to put them on unless it's an Ikea chair. The ONLY chair they dont fit is IKEA. I"m pretty sue that if you bought an IKEA chair, your not the type to switch out the wheels on it. You know it's going to break long before the wheels show even a hint of wear (it may have broke while you were ordering the wheels just knowing too much was going tobe asked from it). so, back to the install I grab 2 sizes of screwdriver and pliers and a small pry bar and a pair of safety glasses. I turn over the chair and figure I'll give a wheel a good pull using just my fierce strength (did I say fierce? I crack myself up with that one) and with a great tug, I slam myself in the chin with the wheel never realizing that "hey..they weren't lying about the easy part. Each leg gave up it wheel freely and the new ones slipped in even easier. I turn the chair over and give it a solid push only to find it careening down the hall stopping only inches from a step down into the Florida room. I was thrilled to note the hardest part was turning over this 5 legged beast (which actually slid/fell the first 2 times then once more to right it. Here we go. First flight. The first thing I find is you better have a good grip on the arms while you slide you posterior onto the beast otherwise it WILL try to run out from under you, Especially on the hard smooth tile floor. Like a seasoned cowboy I gracefully (stop laughing) lower the chair a little and down I go. Hmmm. Despite lowering the chair a bit, I'm still sitting at the same height as previous because the wheels are taller than the original. With a slight push off with right foot I'm gliding back down the hall almost all the to where I started. Now the true test. Pulling forward. First, getting the wheels to turn 180 degrees was a bit clumsy. Notbecause of the wheels but because this is a challenge for any wheeled beastie. The key is not to push directly opposite the direction you were heading, but to perform a somewhat circular motion and all 5 wheels will then be redirected and off you go. Now, the effort required to pull forward is much greater than to puch backward and that is simply a matter of physics and body mechanics. It is however 50% easier than it was with the old wheels. I love them. I'm able to spend 25-50% more time wheeling around than before. It is a much gentler ride over the tiles with the hard rubber type wheels . I'm sure a lot of credit is due the excellent (seem so anyway) bearings in the wheels. No more clunk clunk but now a mostly inaudible passing over the grout lines with minimal jarring of my spine. Another good thing is now I can maneuver over the floor mat in front of the sink where before I had to roll it up because the chair would come to a sudden halt if trying to maneuver over it with the old wheels.

Its been just a few days but I love, love, love these wheels. I can once again chase the dog and cat through the house. I hope you enjoyed my review and got a few laughs. Something we don't seem o be doing enough of these days. I truly love the wheels guys. I would not have put forth ANY effort to review them if I wasn't serious about the product. That would mean if I hated them I still would have taken the time to say that.

Thanks Stealtho for making a difference and improving my life. With my disabilities, time is precious when everything you do takes so much longer than it does for others. Movement is crucial to staying active however movement equals pain so anything that helps with movement, lessens pain and or gives more time in your day is a blessing.

Love how these look and how they perform. Makes rolling around on my tile floor very easy. Sometimes too easy. A fair price. These look great on my Herman Miller Aeron Remastered chair. Very easy to install, no tools needed. They do fluoresce under black light but don't expect them to glow in the dark for very long after black light exposure. Very happy with my purchase.

I originally bought four sets of these, one for every desk chair in the new house almost three years ago. I did not want to mess with chair mats in the new house. These wheels are amazing. Glide smooth and easily on the laminate and concrete floors. My only complaint is that I have had two wheels that started coming loose and would make rolling difficult. I would tighten up the bolt and be okay for 3-4 weeks, then the problems would start again. I finally just ordered another set since I was long out of warranty. I easily replaced the two wheels that were giving me fits. I am once again rolling easily. I do recommend these wheels. Just be aware of the rolling gets difficult to check the wheels where they screw into the shaft.

I recently upgraded my office chair with Stealtho office chair wheels, and I couldn't be happier with the results. These wheels are a game-changer for anyone looking to enhance their workspace experience.

First and foremost, the installation process was incredibly easy. Within minutes, I had swapped out my old, worn-out wheels for the sleek and sturdy Stealtho ones. The difference was immediately noticeable. The smoothness and ease with which my chair now glides across the floor is simply amazing. No more struggling to move around or dealing with annoying squeaks and resistance.

What truly sets Stealtho wheels apart is their versatility. They work perfectly on a variety of surfaces, from hardwood floors to carpets. I no longer worry about damaging my floors or getting stuck on thick rugs. Plus, the wheels are designed to be floor-friendly, so I can move around without leaving scratches or marks.

Another fantastic feature is the quietness of these wheels. They roll silently, which is a blessing in a shared office space or a home environment where you don't want to disturb others. The materials used are top-notch, giving me confidence that these wheels will last a long time without compromising on performance.

These worked perfectly on my SteelCase office chair. I don't know why I didn't upgrade to these sooner. Easy to install. I glide around the hardwood like never before!

Item was great. If only I knew about it before, I would have reduced the damage to my wood flooring.

    5.0 out of 5 stars 移動がスムーズになった(エルゴヒューマンプロ交換用)
Reviewed in Japan on June 19, 2024

5.0 out of 5 stars 意外に固い

    デザインは秀逸です。

    ただ少しホイール部分が固かったです。個人の感想ですが,もう少し柔らかい素材でクッション性があるのが欲しかった。
