We were a group of friends visiting for a long weekend for a special birthday celebration. So we wanted a luxury escape and as we all love the sea and interior design the house fitted our brief. When we arrived we were blown away by the curved windows in the living/ kitchen area looking directly at the sea and Funchal and the interior design of the house. We were also pleasantly surprised by the food welcome pack that included everything we needed for breakfast for 2 days plus wine. The bedrooms and bathrooms were as beautiful as the photos all with sea views and it was easy to choose a room as they were all so nice. The weather in Funchal was only 18 degrees but the terrace was a real suntrap. We were glad we paid to heat the pool as we go hot enough sunbathing to need a cooling dip. Santa Maria where the house is located is near a bar that has some great live music at weekends and a 10 min walk to the old town where we had the most amazing food. We want to come back already !

This is a stunning villa. Beautifully presented in a great location with wonderful views. Well equipped too. It looks really nice in the photos but they don't do it justice. 10 mins walk into the old town and lots of restaurants and bars, 15 mins to key tourist attractions. They also give some good tips and recommendations, including their go to taxi driver Jose who was a star. We really didn't want to leave.

Beautiful villa, worked perfectly for our family celebration. Large comfortable living area with a perfect roof top space for relaxing in the sun whilst taking in the breathtaking views of Funchal bay.

The property is really stunning. The location is great and easy walking distance (5-10 minutes) from many restaurants. Each bedroom has its own bathroom. The terrace on top made for a great place to relax, swim, and have dinner at sunset.

Dom jest przepiękny, położony tuż nad oceanem i w niewielkiej odległości spacerem od restauracji i atrakcji. Było czyściutko , kuchnia wyposażona we wszystko, czego potrzebujesz. W łazienkach kosmetyki dobrej jakości. Bardzo wygodne łóżka. Przyjechaliśmy na Wielkanoc i zastaliśmy pięknie nakryty stół i powitalny zestaw. To było bardzo miłe. Dom jest wygodny dla 8 osób, jest w nim mnóstwo miejsca. Basen na tarasie jest bardzo mały ( wielkość zbliżona do bardzo dużego jacuzzi ), ale bardzo przyjemny.

Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt, in dieser wunderschönen Unterkunft. Wir wurden von einem Transfer am Flughafen abgeholt. Das hat alles sehr gut funktioniert. Die Schlüsselübergabe vor Ort war unproblematisch. Wir waren zu dritt und hatten somit sehr viel Platz und jeder sein Zimmer. Ein Badezimmer hat einen Blick aufs Meer. Die anderen Badezimmer sind innenliegend. Das hat uns aber nicht gestört. Die Betten waren sehr bequem und der Blick aufs Meer atemberaubend. Wir werden alle das Meeresrauschen vermissen. Die Unterkunft ist mit allem gut ausgestattet. Wir waren sehr zufrieden, vor allem mit der Kommunikation. Rund um die Uhr wurden unsere Fragen beantwortet. Wir können die Unterkunft sehr empfehlen! Auch im Februar war es bereits warm auf der Insel.
