In 1977, Oscar Lepre founded the stationery brand Ellepi. Their steel Klizia handheld stapler is crafted with durability and style in mind, in their facility in the Colgno Monzese region of Italy by a small team of craftsmen. Available in a variety of colors, this made-to-last stapler has a patented anti-jamming device that allows for years of frustration-free use.

Poor Packaging
I just received my stapler today and love the feel of it in my hands. It staples without a problem. It is very smooth. However, it arrived beat up in the package. So much that the staplers it came with are all broken up and rendered useless. Since these are tiny staples that are not sold at your local store I can’t use it. I will need to order some through Amazon and wait for them to come in. The stapler itself is also beat up to the point that it’s paint is chipped at the edge of it, see pic. For a $25 stapler this is disappointing. I would not order from this vendor again.

    We had ordered this for a rough and tough kitchen homework stapler. The kids haven't broken it yet and I have high hopes that it will survive our active household. The stapler has a cute design - looks like a whale - and the staples will secure 10 pages. It takes specialized staples - much smaller than the standard office staples. The staples for this stapler are not available on Amazon but I see that they are available from a number of high end stationary websites.

    I love this thing! I've stapled about a thousand stacks of 5-10 sheets with it, and I can't recall a time it jammed or otherwise failed. The mechanism is more ergonomic than your standard desk stapler. It's also small enough to carry in a briefcase.

    I've seen other colors available elsewhere, some of which are very sharp, but the green is certainly not bad.
