Shipping
SHIPPING TIMES:
These are hand made items, made to your specifications. Please allow 1-2 weeks to make and 1-2 days for UK delivery. If your order is urgent, just let us know and we will see what we can do.
In busier times, production times may increase to 2-3 weeks, which we will update our shipping times accordingly.
All international items are tracked. Small UK items are sent 1st class and larger orders tracked and signed for. If you do not want your item signed for, please let us know.
All custom and duty charges are the responsibility of the buyer.
Additional policies and FAQs
A. All of our products are CE certified, using 250v lamp holders. However there are some of our products where we can use UL certified 110v lamp holders. It will specify in the listings. Examples of some of the pieces are the Loki brass pendant lights, anything using a Bakelite lamp holder and anything with the pure brass lamp holder cover with domed top. We hope to develop our line with more options in the future.
Q. What does raw brass mean?
A. Raw Brass is our favourite finish and one you will see alot of in our products. Its unsealed and lightly polished. We ensure there are no major marks before they go out, but some light markings may be visible due to the machine spinning of the brass. This brass will develop a nice patina over time.
Q. I would like to polish my brass piece, what should I use?
A. Brasso! Using a soft cloth apply some brasso to your piece and rub gently until the marks disappear. Use another clean soft cloth to remove the residue and polish the piece.
Q. Are any of your lights IP tested for use in bathrooms?
A. No, as a small business, it is just too expensive, so they may not be suitable for zones 1&2 in your bathroom. To see what these areas are, google 'zones in bathroom' and a diagram will pop up and should help you decide. For example 60cm over sink is fine. If in doubt ask your electrician.
Q. Can you make your light in another metal like chrome?
A. Yes! Over the last few months we have been updating our ligths with more metal finishes such as Satin sealed brass, Raw Brass, Nickel, Powder coated black and Bronze. If one of the lights you want doesn't show the finish you want, feel free to message us to see if we can make it in another finish.
