- Reviewed in the United States on January 20, 2025Size: No Adhesive VersionColor: WhiteVerified PurchaseThese look super cute on the wall & work better than I thought they would. I specifically bought these for dampening my voice from carrying through the wall or upstairs. They not only worked for outgoing sound, but they helped dampen the sound of my loud neighbors! I used command strips to hang.
- Reviewed in the United States on November 21, 2023As other point out, it is very important to understand the purpose of these tiles before you purchase. These are NOT designed to sound-proof rooms but, rather, to deaden space to reduce sound reflection. My home office has laminant floors and a large window. As part of my job, I have to record audio training for new hires. The audio quality has been less than desireable -- my spoken voice sounded like it's coming from inside a mailbox. I realized the cheap mic that integrated into my webcam was partially to blame, so I picked up a good, podcast-qualiy mic. The results were much better but the echo was still quite pronounced.
From there, I decided to investigate acoustic treatment for key reflective points in the room. I read that, for most applications, effective dampening requires a combined 30 to 40 percent of the walls and ceiling needed to be covered with acoustical treatment. I picked up 48 tiles of various sizes and went to work.
Eight tiles are on the ceiing above my chair, with the rest on the various vertical surfaces surrounding me -- including two large, bi-fold closet doors to my side, and the walls in front and behind me. I also installed a group of tiles on a piece of large, 4' x 4' foam board that I can prop on the window ledge behind to dampen the glass.
I was a little nervous about cluttering up my walls with a bunch of industrial-looking tile. However, I was pleasantly surprised to find that these really don't look that bad.
And what an improvement to the audio characteristics of the room! Even before recording, I knew the installation was successful because I could literally feel the difference around my ears, even in dead silence. Ambient noise like opening and closing doors, rolling my office chair across the floor and setting my coffee cup down on my desk decayed quickly, with no echo. My HR team was amazed at the improved production quality in my recordings.
A note on installation -- I wanted to make sure these tiles could be easily removed without damaging paint and drywall. Therefore, the tiles I purchased did NOT have the peel and stick adhesive. Instead, per the advice of others here, I used medium and large Command Strips for picture hanging. These are two-piece strips: one is affixed to the back of the tile and the other to the wall; the two pieces lock together using a very stiff, hook-and-loop fastener. To ensure the tile side of the strip stuck to the tile, I fortified the Command Strip adhesive with a few drops of fabric glue. (I chose Gorilla hot glue sticks because they are highly rated for fabric.) This method worked very well and I thank the reviewer who shared it. Make sure you watch that reviewer's quick video.

- Reviewed in the United States on May 7, 2023I bought these for my new student apartment because I play guitar and didn’t want to bother my roommates too much. I really like how they look and they fill an empty wall really well, however they’re only a tad bit effective. If you’re wanting a paneling to use in a recording studio, I would not recommend these guys.
Next, I’d recommend Command Strips to hang these panels. Specifically the velcro kind. That way you can avoid putting holes in your walls with nails or tearing the paint off with tape. The panels are really light-weight and have never fallen off the wall.
All in all, I still really like the panels for the decor and some practicality.

- Reviewed in the United States on April 20, 2021Size: No Adhesive VersionColor: WhiteVerified PurchaseThese are very pretty- for some reason I'm all about hexagons lately and the clean white pattern looks SUPER cute on my walls. I used simple Velcro command strips to stick these to my walls so they can be easily removable. I liked them so much I got two packs, and have had them up for at least a month now, none have ever fallen off.
I'm a streamer so I'm always on my PC, my rooms always running hot, things tend to unstick themselves from the walls pretty quickly when they're bad quality items/sound panels (I've tried out a few different ones by now).
These are sound absorbent, not noise cancelling like MOST people think foam padding like these work. btw these aren't made of FOAM, so while these are THINNER than other FOAM panels, these are THINNER but have WAY less air flow/noise sound flow through them because of how DENSE they are.
I'm not saying they'll completely cancel out every noise you make, but I DO think they at least muffle sounds while also looking cute.
I'll update with pics and with if they ever unstick or fall off, but I've had no problems so far.
- Reviewed in the United States on August 26, 2024Size: No Adhesive VersionColor: WhiteVerified PurchaseI purchased this along with the green version to help reduce the echo and noise in my home office. with some double-sided gel tape it went on the wall easy and looks great. It no longer echoes in the room and my son isn't bothered by my work meeting anymore while he tries to sleep in the room on the other side of the wall.
- Reviewed in the United States on November 3, 2023The media could not be loaded.
I used Command Strips and hot glued them to the back of each panel (based on reviews that said the Command Strips didn’t adhere well) and it worked perfectly! These are better looking in person than on Amazon!

- Reviewed in the United States on February 29, 2024I ordered the black, white, and light great of this brand and they were all very even. I ordered the darker gray in another brand and I was very disappointed in those. Super fun for styling. I only cut one and I wish I ordered more to finish all the edges because it was surprisingly very easy to cut with an exacto knife. The room is a lot less “echoey” and super cute!! Even my husband was happy in the end, albeit extremely skeptical when I started. Used the 3M foam tape, and very very very small pieces to add to the wall in each corner. I was able to carefully move the panels if needed and they’ve hung for a few weeks now. I would not recommend the ones with a full sticky backing!

- Reviewed in the United States on January 31, 2022I rent my basement out and needed something to help absorb some if the sound that travels between floors. These are ok. They are fun and you can make some cool petterna but attaching them isn't easy. Double stick tape did ok on satin painted walls I needed at least 3 pieces of tape to hold them up and in place. The ceiling was a different story and since the ceiling has flat paint the double stick tape did not come off the ceiling and left a mark. Push pins aren't long enough so basically only use for a wall and don't expect grand results unless you completely cover it.

Ahora estos paneles son más grandes y no tienen ese pegamento, hay que tener cinta doble cara aparte para pegarlos. Por lo demás funcionan.
