    Find a Flat Surface & Wipe the Mounting Location

    Before attaching the Velox Pro Dash & Windshield Mount, wipe the surface clean so that there is no dirt, dust, oil, or water that will prevent the dashboard pad or suction cup from sticking.

    *There is no need to use the dashboard pad when mounting the Velox Pro on your windshield.

    Once you've installed the dashboard pad, let it sit for at least 20 minutes before attaching the Velox Pro Mount.

    The longer you wait before attaching the mount, the more secure the hold will be.

    To install the Dash Mount, lift the suction lever and place the cup firmly on the dashboard pad or windshield. Lower the lever to engage suction and lock the mount in place.

    Great Charger with a Persistent Flaw
    I’ve been using the iOttie Velox Pro MagSafe Compatible Dash & Windshield Car Mount for months now, and while it has many great features, it also has a persistent issue that I’ve had to workaround since day one. Wireless Charging: The wireless charging feature works flawlessly with my iPhone 14 Pro Max. It charges efficiently and keeps my phone powered up during long drives. Installation: The installation process was straightforward, and the mount attaches securely to both the dashboard and windshield. The CryoFlow™ cooling system is a nice touch, ensuring the phone doesn’t overheat while charging. Stability: Unfortunately, the mount doesn’t hold the weight of my iPhone 14 Pro Max very well. The phone tends to sway downwards, which has been an ongoing issue. To solve this, I had to use straps to keep it in place, preventing it from moving. This workaround has been necessary since the first day I started using it. Overall Experience: Despite the stability issue, the iOttie Velox Pro is a great car mount for MagSafe iPhones. It provides excellent wireless charging and a secure fit with the additional support of straps. I would recommend it for its functionality and ease of use, but be prepared to improvise if you have a heavier phone like the iPhone 14 Pro Max.

      Excellent item I believe this is the best car mount mag charger on the market charges my iPhone really fast I work at a lumber yard so I got one of those dust things to go into your charging port on my phone and it’s such a pain to take it out and put it back in all other mag chargers for vehicles charged super slow even though they say fast charging my phone was at 50% yesterday and I put it on the new one for about 30 minutes and it built up to 88% definitely refer this to a friend it’s super sturdy and super easy to install took me less than 5 minutes it’s works phenomenal and the design of it almost looks like it came stock on the truck I drive.

      Works as described. I had one issue after about a year of use where the head would move too easily and the phone would sag down. Realized the mount had small cracks around where the ball joint attaches. Submitted a warranty claim through iOttie's website and they promptly sent me a new one. Was able to take apart the old unit to see how it worked and realized just how much though went into designing this thing so it cooled properly. Great quality and hopefully the new unit doesn't have the same issue.

      It works but needs a redesign as it has some significant flaws.

      The good part is that it keeps my Pixel 8 charged on long trips while running Waze, audio streaming, and Bluetooth.

      A minor flaw is the audible fan; the fan is annoying unless I turn up my music to drown out the high hum of the fan.

      The major flaw is that the phone joint is not lockable with tightening nut thus, with every bump, the phone will change angle. I have had it for a couple of months, and it is only getting worse. I don't expect it to last another six mo before it is useless.

      For the price, I would expect better design and execution. Save your money and do not buy this...

      I like it for the ease of mounting the phone and how it keeps the phone cool. When I plug the cord directly into the provided USB for power/data, the charger does not stay charging. It flips off and on. There must be a certain amount of data it’s trying to send. I have it powered by the cigarette charger but this forfeits the Apple sync. To interface with the car’s touch screen and Apple, we unplug the power to this unit and plug the phone directly into the car. This turns off the cooling/charging function but still get the MagSafe strong magnet. 2017 Ford Edge

      The product itself was flawed and would sag. After a few weeks I decided to put in a warranty request with iOttie, and not only were they responsive, they straight up admitted the product was in need of improvement and sent me an updated model free of charge! Otherwise the product was great and charged, never actually fell off the mount and my phone stayed attached to the MagSafe plate which is quite strong.

      Had this charger for 2 months. IOttie has always been a pretty good brand, but had problems with the charging and had to switch the cable on multiple times. Then the amount that itself decided to not hold the phone up anymore and gave out. Plus the fan doesn’t come anywhere near keeping the phone cool.

      I had an older generation iOttie wireless charging dash mount. It still works, but the cord is starting to wear out. When I got my new iPhone 14 pro, I knew I wanted to get a MagSafe dash mount instead. Clipping the phone into the old mount was easy, but it did take an extra step and other people often had trouble getting used to the mechanism. MagSafe is effortless and strong enough to hold my phone in place. It doesn’t jostle often, so most of the time it stays in place right where you placed it. Occasionally it might get slightly turned so it’s no sitting straight. The cooling mechanism has also been great. I’ve always had trouble on long road trips when the mount is sitting in the sun with my phone getting overheated. Even though the AC is on in the car, the combination of direct sunlight, black charger and dash, and the wireless charging would mean I’d have to pull my phone off the mount and cool it down in front of a vent. This is very inconvenient if I’m actively needing the GPS at that moment. I took a week long vacation road-trip where we were in the car for up to 12 hours. My phone never got overheated during that time. The trip was at the end of June and we drove through the mountains and desert with no issues. I’m very happy with this phone mount.

      I was excited to find a mag charger that would hold my phone and charge while on calls and nav without overheating and shutting down. I installed it using a 12v/5V adapter and an add a fuse tap. It worked perfectly for 6 months. Secure. Keept the phone charged and cool. Then the fan and the charging stopped. Seems the main board failed. Shame there isn’t a warranty. $80 every 6 months is steep.
