Scopella is worth a visit.
Scopella is worth a visit. The coastline is spectacular and the villages charming. Tonnara is an old tuna fishing village with a hotel and accommodation with private and public beach. You’ll need a car and comfortable walking shoes. A lot of the coastal areas are privately owned but you can buy an entry ticket to access the beach or walk the coastal trails.

Scopello is beautiful and the baglio is very atmospheric. The beach at the Tonnara can be crowded in high season so we did not go (we had been before) It was extremely hot in July when we were there so we just relaxed rather than travelling around, but from previous visits to the area we know it is well worth visiting.

The little town of Scopello was worth a visit and there were some lovely restaurants and bars there as well as little local shops. Loved the views to the ocean from this quaint village. The village was easy to walk around but parking is on the edge of the village. We had a lovely lunch at La Terrazza but the staff could have been a lot friendlier and it would have made the experience.
Dinner at Tenute Plaia Agriturismo was a wonderful experIence from the staff to the food, the view and ambience. I would definitely recommend this venue.

This tiny town has been discovered and has been shifting from a place locals and italians go to the anonymous and sometimes joyless middle end tourist. The food and services are excellent especially Made in Scilia restaurant and the scuba snorkel outfit https://www.cetariasea.com/. The Zingara reserve is goreg.ous, if mobility is an issue take Vittorio's boat ( above).
For a fun time try the Chiringuito for pizza or just drinks and spontaneous entertainment.

It was chilled but had enough to do for a few days or even a week. There was a great choice in gorgeous restaurants and bars. We loved the pastry shop in the square which was great both in the morning for breakfast and in the evening for drinks. They also have a great choice of ice creams! Most of the restaurants have amazing views, our favourites were Bellevue and bar Nettuno. Short walk down to the Tonnara and a longer but still short walk down to two other beautiful beaches. Also close to the nature reserve which would be fab for hiking in the cooler months.
Signore Vito, the owner, is adorable and always at your disposal if you have a question or need something. The property is in the piazza of historical Scopello, and plenty of restaurants are within walking distance. The apartments are well isolated, and we were not disturbed by the business outside. You can't drive into historical Scopello, and you have to park your car in the Parcheggio Grande and walk the last 60 or 70 meters. If you call signore Vito, he will come and get you. We had a very pleasant stay here in a fantastic location.
A very nice small hotel with very kind and helpful staff, in a stunning location. We had dinner two nights and enjoyed good Sicilian cooking, once on the terrace looking over the sea. Breakfast was also very good, a buffet with lots of options.Very close to the Zingaro nature reserve and an easy drive to Palermo airport. Parking is available a short distance from the hotel, we paid 7 euros for 2 nights which seemed very reasonable but there is free parking a bit more distant apparently.
Central location in the heart of the beautiful village of Scopello. A range of bars and restaurants to choose from. The house is spacious and tastefully presented.
A great base for hiking in the National park and hills nearby. A range of beautiful coves to swim in but car access required to reach them. Thanks to Francesco for his excellent communication and ensuring we had a hassle free stay. I would highly recommend this place.
The location of this property is perfect. Close to a charming town, stunning secluded beaches, Zingaro Reserve. The pool and patio area is perfect for relaxation, and outside dining with bbq, very well equipped. Giuseppina was in touch during our journey there to guide us, and made us feel very welcome throughout our stay. I cannot wait to come back to explore more of this beautiful Island of Sicily.
The best holiday rental we have ever stayed in. Beautiful countryside location but not far from the beach and Scopello. The house is very charming and the gardens are an amazing place to hang out. Giuseppe is a great host. On arrival there was food to get us started including olive oil made from his own trees and he often dropped in fruit. Could not recommend this place more highly.
I had a fantastic stay at Villa Futura in Sicily. The location was exceptional, and it was a pleasure to communicate with the friendly staff. One of the highlights was the convenience of being within walking distance to Scopello, which added to the overall experience. I would definitely recommend this villa for a memorable Sicilian getaway.
The host was friendly and helpful. The room was spacious with separate bedroom, living area, and patio, with table and chairs for dining both inside and outside. Easy parking onsite and within 10 minute drive to Scopello, Castelldammare de Golfo, and Zingaro Nature Reserve.
I loved the pool and grounds. The nearby beaches and Zingaro Nature reserve are beautiful, but this pool area was a relaxing oasis. The free breakfast offers a good selection of food. The staff was very friendly and extremely helpful. I would love to stay here again.
Excellent value for money. Stayed before the season gets super busy and had the pool pretty much to myself! Decent breakfast and clean room. Scopello itself is also lovely and the hotel is right next to an array of nice restaurants and bars/cafes.
We stayed at the apartments in the center of Scopello, which were beautiful! They were immaculate, spacious, and centrally located including parking. Walking distance of everything you could want, and easily accessible beaches nearby.
The hosts left quite a selection of breakfast food and drink. The villa was modern and spotless. The location was amazing for views of the hills and easy to travel and explore Erice Castellemare di Golf and Scopello.
Nice house in a quiet area near the beach. Upon our arrival Leonardo gave us recommendations of places to visit nearby. Very close to Scopello and Riserva dello Zingaro!
Scopello itself is absolutely beautiful and the neighborhood of this hotel is charming. The pool is gorgeous. The room was spacious and had everything necessary.
It's a very modern and clean accommodation with a comfortable bed and a big bathroom. Parking is available on the property and there's a supermarket nearby.
