Fits Great If You Have a Boxy Physique
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The blending of different fabrics makes a great sweater. However, it is too boxy. This sweater should come in a slim fit. Unfortunately, returned it due to sizing.

good shirt, recommended!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] great merino wool layer, whether your preferred trail is Pacific Crest, Appalachian, or just the Living Room to Kitchen. i own 2 of these, as well as 2 quarter zips and 2 short sleeve tees. i do think the little bit of nylon (12%) detracts from the merino wool advantages, but only a few points, and the added durability makes up for it. i look forward to testing this in all kinds of weather in the near future. a great layer for the PNW climate... supposed to hit 95* this weekend, but it rained at 50* last week. go figure! for size reference, i'm 6'3", 190 lbs, and the Large fits very well. it's not skin-tight, nor is it boxy -- just a good slim fit, without being too clingy or constricting. i'd appreciate another inch or two in the length, but it's surprisingly good as-is... especially the sleeves! they're usually too short for me on most shirts, but they're almost "too long" on this one. all in all, a good piece of cloth, especially if you can find it on a decent sale. great for everyday wear, versatile enough to cover a wide range of uses. #sweepstakes

I would buy again
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product does what it says. Fits well too. I am a 5'5" tall woman and bought a men's small which fits perfectly.

Solid base layer
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used this and the matching bottom for skiing in 20-30 degree weather. I was the right temp throughout the day with a fleece midlayer on top and a shell jacket. Didn't sweat with this base layer compared to the clammy feeling of a polyester or synthetic base layer. I would purchase again.

Definitely recommend
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] my go to baselayer, found it so much better than the other brands that I tried. They usually smell bad after wearing them all day, this one doesn't.

Great 250 wool base layer
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Good but it is a slim fit so keep that in mind when purchasing. True base layer which stays close to the body.

Simply great stuff.....
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use the 150 as a base layer for hiking as well as a base under a flannel for casual wear when it is cold out below 32. Incredible breathability and comfort and removes the moisture out when hiking hard so I never catch a chill. You get what you pay for and Smartwool is worth every penny!
