The reserve is beautiful and the hotel gardens and build were great. But the room was basic and dated.

Fantastic room shame about the bathroom
We stayed in the Charlie Chaplin Suit, The rooms were very large and spacious the bed was comfortable and the outlook from the windows was lovely. The bathroom was a bit tired, and the electric shower needed attention as it made excessive noise when switched on, the sink enamel was also poor. For the price I would have expected a bathroom in better condition

Our stay at Port Lympne
Wow,it’s a must for everyone,even if you have no children.We were booked to stay in the Mansion itself but due to a problem with the hot water in the room,we were upgraded to a Tree House room.It was amazing and we also had use of a buggy to drive around in. We drove around after dinner and then after breakfast when no visitors were there.We saw so many animals,more than we’ve ever seen. Wonderful experience

It was a wonderful and interesting place to stay given the wild reserve. The only two issues we had was that the restaurant closes early - we arrived around 8:45 pm and we couldn’t order a la carte (they did let us order some sandwiches). Also, we had a hard time getting the toilet in the room to flush. Of course, this is part of staying at an old mansion. Overall a wonderful stay in a beautiful mansion with lovely gardens and the safari tours are also a must.

Hotel in conservation reserve
We stayed at Port Lympne hotel after a one night safari break there. Enjoyed a luxurious room and a restful evening after a busy 2 days exploring the reserve and also at Howletts . Very interesting and enjoyable break.
