    This generation, our Axial-tech fan design has matured with an increased blade count on all three fans: 13 on the center fan and 11 on the auxiliary fans. The barrier rings on the side fans have been slimmed down to allow for more lateral intake and to provide better airflow through the cooling array. The center fan's extra blades and full-height ring provide boosted static pressure to blast air directly onto the GPU heat spreader. The fan design growth is specifically optimized for a massive new heatsink that features more fins and surface area than previous iterations.

    To bolster the specialized roles of the center and auxiliary fans, the rotational direction of the center fan is reversed. This reduces air turbulence inside the cooling array for another boost to overall thermal performance. Fans will also only start spinning when the GPU temperature hits 60 Celsius and shut off when temps drop below 55 Celsius, helping to reduce noise when the system is idling or under light load.

    To get heat up off the die and into the heatsink array, we've engaged MaxContact technology to polish the surface of the heat spreader and improve smoothness at the microscopic level. The extra flatness allows for better contact with the die for enhanced thermal transfer.

    The underside of the card reveals further improvements. Most of the rear is swathed in a protective metal backplate that prominently features a wide vent.       Was slightly concerned buying this given the GPU market right now. The card was shipped promptly and was received just as promptly.

      It was harder to get the old card out than out this one in. I will be looking at an extra support. The heatsink is simply massive. Drivers installed easily. FFXIV runs approximately twice as fast for me with this as opposed to a GTX 1080. Need to play with the Vibrance and Overclocking. Input lag seems better and switching in and out of FFXIV now takes less than 1 second instead of 5 to 7 though I would not know if that issue with the 1080 was due to the card, driver or some setting I flipped at some point. Turned the FPS down to 60 for now due to avoiding DSC which at 4K can make some text harder to see on any card. Depends on ones eyes somewhat. I just need to look for an HDMI 2.1 monitor now.

      This card is fast and behaves nicely.

      Got this card around the $655 range as it was slashed from the $950 range. I may be spoiled because I’m used to cheaper GPU prices, even though they have dropped back to almost normal. Maybe if it was $100-$200 less, I’d say this would be a true bargain. This with my LG FreeSync Premium monitor on 144hz, 4K, and UHD. Handles all games like a champ and beasts it out on max settings for games. GPU temp seems relatively stable as well. Amazing card and I would highly suggest buying if you can shell out the money.

      Yeah, at $1600 I felt ripped off, but after waiting 8 months for the chip shortage issues to work themselves out I concluded it may not happen for another year or two and everything else in my new PC build was going up in price, so I finally gave in.

      This card works great, but with a DisplayPort connection, the monitor doesn’t get a signal until after POST, so you can never enter the BIOS setup. The workaround is, whenever you want to enter the BIOS setup, you’ll need to move the monitor to an HDMI port on your PC prior to boot up. Maybe one day AMD will update the firmware to fix this, but as of Feb. 2022, this is still unaddressed.

      Es una excelente tarjeta por el precio, tiene un gran rendimiento. Te va a correr todo por lo menos a 2k y unos 120-140fps en ultra sin problemas, si quieres 4k ahi ya van a bajar los fps pero sin problemas lo va a seguir levantando.

      En cuestion termica en mi caso no he tenido problemas, no pasa de 65 grados, aunque tuve que modificar un poco mi gabinete para que entrara ya que es de 328mm, tomen esto en cuenta ya que en algunos lados vi que decian 310mm y otros 328mm, resulto ser el ultimo y no cupo como tal en mi gabinete, tuve que quitar el filtro y cristal del gabinete para pasar el ventilador central al frente y que pudiera caber la tarjeta.

      Curiosamente al quitar el filtro y el cristal del gabinete Corsair 220t el flujo de aire mejoro muchisimo entonces lo dejare asi, solo es cuestion de limpiar cada dos o tres semanas.
