I ordered this to start walking more and maintaining my step goals since my Rxs make me sensitive to the summer heat. It's a little heavy. If you're going to get this treadmill I 1000% recommend getting the white glove delivery. They were very knowledgeable, answered all my questions and got me set up nicely in my upstairs bedroom. Pros:
- Smooth walk.
- It's easy to vacuum around because the hydraulics make the bottom portion easy to fold up. They also gently lower it back down so you don't have to hurt your back trying to get it ready to work out on.
- I was surprised that the fan was pretty good for a treadmill fan - I still have a big box fan aimed at me, but this one is nice.
- The rollers on the handle are super handy for increasing/decreasing speed.
Neutral:
-The BT speakers are decent. Not really a big selling point for me, but the sound quality isn't too bad.
Cons:
- Pretty much my only complaint is that the flat buttons sometimes don't work. Specifically the stop/start buttons. Sometimes you have to fish for the sweet spot and it can be kinda annoying at times.
Hack I've been using to get around this: I've found that I press the 'enter' button twice and it brings up a 30minute count down (you can increase/decrease this time with the arrow buttons), and then all I have to do is fish around for the start button sweet spot. I've had better success between the r and t on "start". Once the countdown is over it just stops on its own so I don't have to try and fish for that button.
An alternative to get it to stop of course is the emergency stop lanyard but the countdown feature is nicer and you get a smoother stop.
Maybe it's just my machine, but I'm still able to get it up and running to get my steps in, so I'm not too put off by it.
Overall? Super happy with my purchase. Would definitely recommend. Read LessRead less about I ordered this to start walking more
When it comes to comparing treadmills, Continuous Horsepower (CHP) ratings fail to paint the complete picture. The motor is simply one component of a complex mechanical system in which each part plays a role in the overall experience. Additionally, your home’s wall outlet and your treadmill’s internal breaker place a limit on the maximum power output that your treadmill motor can sustain. This limitation results in about 1.8 or 1.9 HP with typical motor efficiency regardless of whether your motor can continuously output 2.5 HP, 3.0 HP, 3.5 HP, or more. Motor warranty length, maximum belt speed, and maximum user weight are better indicators that you are purchasing a treadmill with are liable and powerful motor.
